Any ex pes players here can offer some help? after the flop of efootball 2022 I downloaded FIFA 22 trial, my god im getting hammered how on earth do you defend? The AI seems to not do much? People just run threw me

Watch some YouTube vids is my tip , I quite like boraslegend as he doesn't tend to pad the vids with filler.

It's quite tough at first, the dribbling is stupid this year so sometimes if you get it wrong they will just get past easy. Learn the basic controls and have patience, don't dive in wait for an opening to tackle.

It's from years and years of people complaining that the AI does too much defending. I think some people still complain that the AI does too much defending.

AI is ok, won't so much on their own though. Also need to master player switching, there are various methods.

R1 second man press, manual press by switching fast and positioning players, use jockeying to intercept and make a tackle. As above check YouTube it’s a much faster game.

Don't know if they've patched something but tonight my neuer is absolutely useless. Don't think he's made one save, yet donarumadingdong is basically a brick wall again. Getting stupid some of the high scoring games now.

The other thing is mbap , is it hard coded into the game to just let every shot he takes go in??

Just did a quick club check. I could easily clear 540k if I sell the random totw players I have and still have Tomori OTW 180k and bamba 180k left in the club.

Not sure to keep holding the pair or sell. Bamba looks insane and can easy fit into a team

In a similar situation now.

My teams basically a hybrid of bundesliga and prem.

I've got 470k plus just packed Vini jr whos going for around 360k. I can't fit him in anywhere without changing half the team. Plus then got marquenios but untradable, again can't fit him in.

Not sure if to just sell him now before the price goes down then go for mbap in a week's time, but again that would involve changing the lot. Getting too complicated now.

Yeah, as Gman said above, Milestone rewards day.

There are going to be thousands of 100k packs opened all day and people are going to be packing duplicates and replacing the tradable items in their clubs with the untradeables.

EA could throw a massive curve ball like the rumoured Icon or Flashback Mbappe SBCs but I'm not sure they would want people doing them for free.

This game makes zero sense, qualified 5-0 with my 100k La Liga team, got my first 12 wins rank 2 in champs with it and then qualified again 5-0.

I've literally done no better, no worse since improving my team. I think if you are a good player you just make it work regardless of the players you have at your disposal, you'll maybe achieve 1 or 2 wins more with better players but it all comes down to you at the end of the day. (I'm just an average player and just scrape through each week)

First go at champs, got to rank 3, gave away the rest of the games....might have scraped R2. Tavernier and Arnold red picks, then packed Arnold again.... (Should have saved the packs mebbe)
