I have been winning more by shooting more, earlier and more often. I was constantly running into what felt like a wall of defenders every time i tried to play it into the box so I started shooting earlier and it has worked.Thanks guys.
I think my biggest gripe with the game is the incosnistent passing, the more you play the more you notice it. Also, the way very good dribblers will sort of pause rather than collect the ball and move instantly etc. Happens to both players in the match, so it balances out but it's still poo lol.
I'm getting better playing through but for sure there's advantages in shooting sooner, you can score some crazy outside the box shots right now.
Noticed they made all the Hybrid SBC rewards untradeable, EA never cease to be stingy haha. Finished the first one and got some decent pulls even if I just use them as high rated fodder for other SBC's down the road (may do Rashford's with them tbh). Got Modric, Moreno UECL version, Casemiro and Szczesny. It's an extra dirty move though, as you can't always deal with or hold duplicates if you already have untradeable versions of the card.. It's not hard for me to remember why I stopped playing after years of EA's abuse haha

So I decided to play the weekend league and christ was it sweaty but my main issue what the fact that I was losing games where I'd have 15 good chances and my opponent would have 2. Very frustrating. I made it to rank 4..i think, and of course the player picks were garbage, the totw pack was garbage but I did get neymar out of the rare player pack!
Watch this on 2.0 speed for some lovely karma...absolute **** of a player, had messaging turned off unfortunately
Exactly why I’m not bothering this year. Far too many of these sweats in FUT now. The win feels satisfying for a few minutes until the next sweatlord comes along.
Teams do that in real life you know

Managed rank 3 got sod all in rewards as per usual, managed to bag a few deals with the hero card error which they’ve majorly bust the market with.
Then sold said cards bought RTTF Foden and he’s by far best card I’ve used agility is through the roof.

It's probably the worst fifa I've played in a long time but I need a football game to play and sadly the only other options are even worse than fifa 23. Its very frustrating. Its slow, unresponsive, the rebounds are just ridiculous and the passing is mega random... But the new chem system is decent
Frustrating FUT champs for me. Gameplay in all other modes is smooth as butter but as soon as I'm in Champs there's some slight lag and huge button delay, sigh. Messaged some guy I beat (through pure laggy luck) and he said it was the same for him too. Needless to say, it's took less than 2 weeks for me to remember why I didn't buy this game for many years.

This is a catastrophic mess up, so early in the game cycle too. Completely unfair on people who missed it.
They make so many mistakes with things like this, it's really bizarre.
Finished FUT champs, got rank 5. Bit annoying you can't just skip extra games you don't want to play. TOTW pack gave me 3 discards and the Ultimate pack gave me the TOTW German CAM guy, next highest rated (in an ultimate pack) was an 82.. Joy. Reckon the entire rewards netted me less than 100k, **** take really.
I genuinely think some of them aren’t mistakes.
They love being able to manipulate the market.

I had several of them this weekend. People suggested it crossplay with pc players? Annoying but I guess if they want to win that badly, then maybe, people should have some sympathy for them?
