Official FIFA 23 Thread

Bruno fernandes from the MM not bad easy 40k. Just bought Brolin, had one game he scored 6 goals. Im terrible and dont think ive scored 6 goals in a game yet never mind with one player and in div 7 :p
 
Ughhh had a horrible losing streak but managed to grind out a win against someone who fought to the death...People are fanatical on FUT as this time of the season!
 
is it just me being really crap (was in the elite division on 22) or is defending on this version none existent?
I seem to be giving away loads of chances no matter what I do, games are ending up 5-4 or 3-2 all the time it's ridiculous.
 
5 at the back worked well for me on 22. you just always activate the fullbacks get forward option and its basically a 3142, was good for constant pressure as well. Tried it this time round and players just don't get forward quick enough :( switched to the 352 for now and seem to be creating a lot more. Defending is still crap though.

Is it just me or when you get your striker clean though good 5 yards ahead of the defender with someone like werner, if you don't constantly hit the right stick to get the extra speed the defenders just catch you easy.
 
What Fifa like this year? havnt played for years as I found it got to samey with not much changes however I might play it instead of Football manager this year.

I only really like playing against AI on it so how is that?

For playing offline I would look at sliders to make it feel more realistic, it's still not perfect but makes playing offline better.


Check the likes of Spoony on Youtube for sliders, they continually change as people play about with them and fine tune them.
 
Also got Adam’s, also I’ve resorted to the PS4 version and it’s infinity better. It just goes through me playing old gen but it’s the most fun I’ve had since 23.

What is the difference? You got me wanting to try it now, not that I'm finding anything necessarily bad with next gen, it's sluggish like 22 tbh.
 
Please tell me what Allison was doing here. Also Aubameyang seems totally broken! His finishing is awful and he never makes runs.
