Dunno how you guys got so far, It still won't even attempt to get to the page, it just instantly redirects to the congestion page. :(
 
I managed to download the smaller files on utorrent at a decent speed. Only took a few minutes.

I figured I would try the big on but when it said ETA 17wks I thought I would just stick to the launcher thats on 54% :p

Still upload is 54Kbs while download it under 1ks..grr. Was downloading at 300kbs last night.

If you right click the orange button and open new window it does actually open and let you log on only THEN do you see its down now.

They messed up the moment they released this stupid downloader.
 
i tried before going to work but kept getting the server busy page.. I have the client however downloading updates, just need that all important key xD i wonder if theyre selling them on ebay yet
 
Got the code, registered it, now I'm facing the painfully slow client download -.- At the moment of writing my DL speed is 0.0 b/s and upload is nearly 50 Kb/s...can I has start leeching off peeples too pls?
 
Took me 8 hours to to 6% yesterday then I got 10% in 1 hour during the evening....

At least you have the key, thats i should think is limited in some way. Wish i had it then I can let this stupid download go in (a bit more) peace. If i go through solid 9 hour downloads to not get a key i will be ****ed.

Been trying on and off to get a beta key, finally managed one after 2 hours!

But now I can't get back onto their site to actually enter and activate the key :x

Fair point I suppose - all I can say is keep trying, I literally got my key few minutes before I posted about it, so either server load has diminished (people went to work/school lol) or I just got lucky. Unrelated question - I gave up on the SE torrent software and am downloading the patches with bittorrent. Once the download is complete, where exactly do I move them to, so the FFXIV installer can confirm them?
