I got my key! Finally!

then they go in d96437e6 or bca2a8ae

then the into the patch file
 
I wonder why big companies like Sony and Blizzard are never prepared for such a rush of traffic, you would have thought they would have learned by now
 
Well this is good, when i apply for the beta the site now tells me that they already sent me a key and to check my e-mail - nothing there. I hit the resend e-mail link and again - nothing.

EDIT: Ok the key finally arrived, but i cannot access the account page to use it, and the torrent is still going slow as hell - 17.7% done now :/

yeah same here stuck at 47.3% seems to be happening to everyone.

Finished the first quest just before it kicked me could be a boss battle in the next one :) can't wait
 
Mine is still downloading at 50b/s :) 50 remote nad 2 local - same as last night but no longer 330kbs. i wonder if its becuase its during the day, but I would have thought it would be faster!

I can not enter teh beta site, keeps going back to the log in page. Oh (just thought) might be cookies...
 
More to the topic of this forum tried running the game at 5760x1080 yeah thats not going to happen :p playable while walking about but as soon as it goes into a cutscene bam there goes the fps :p
 
47.3% as well, switched to uTorrent and managed to get the whole thing ^^

I got the new patches through uTorrent really fast, still waiting on the 4.7GB file... 20% complete lol.

I tried the official launcher again this morning, and it was doing the same thing as last night, 40kB/s U/L with max 4kB/s DL - and the damn thing runs at 99% CPU usage all the time.

uTorrent is giving me 40-100kB/s so i guess i'll just have to make do with that and give the game a try tommorow. This whole thing seems very messy, i hope the game is more polished than their account/content infrastructure!

edit: Ok uTorrent is down to 20kB/s now, maybe i will play next week lol

lame people who were in closed beta dont even get carried over into open beta even though we had to put up with all kinds of ****
 
Not sure what folder to put them in code is 11024 or something like that

Edit: Ran the torrent from the metainfo file those with todays date, theres a .patch file
 
There were two small patches i grabbed about an hour ago. Now it looks like the servers have been brought down as a lot of people seem to be getting errors with the patcher. I'm getting 11024 version check timed out. Which i'd presume means it's all down.

Now i'm going to ask a noob question. How do i revive after i die? happened earlier and i can't figure out how to resurrect, no help appeared on my first death with is a bit annoying.

Go into the Menu > Select Return / Teleport and it will revive you.
