Same here, had no issues with the beta but had my first crash with the retail release yesterday.

Not really, the deal with the match engine (and has been for the last few) is that each time you load it is a completely new event, regardless of what you change. So if you reload a save and replay the game the AI can (and in all probability will) do something different even if you don't.
It's not broken as such, just different from how it used to be as it used to auto save before a game to stop you rage quitting a game and replaying it. At least it's not like civ where you can set the "reserve random seed" option that forces the game down one set path regardless of reloads, i.e. events (and in FM's case results) are almost predetermined.
The only thing I think that's broken in the match engine is penalties that are awarded in game, far too many nothing penalties are given and more often than not the "on a hat trick" rule overrides the designated penalty taker, which is stupid when they end up missing 2 in a game
Even then it's not a proper break, just an annoying oddity that a player screaming I'm on for a hat trick overrides the we need to score this to win.

Yeah, it was late yesterday so I didn't bother.Well it wouldn't take long to move the graphics folder out of the folder its currently in to somewhere else and see what happens?I can't imagine what is the potential problem with custom graphics packs. Perhaps its problems with the XML files?
As others said.
Tbh, it was the same in FM12, and then they released an update that fixed a lot of it, until it became perfect, with little/no crashes.
Heck, until last week, a fairly popular facebook page showed that the game crashed for him constantly. And he has a legit version. And this is FM12 we are speaking about.
tl;dr Crash dumps happen to the best of us

Just started a career with Crewe today. Played my first competitive match in the Capital One cup 1st Round against Forest. Had to reload part way through the game...very odd bug. My striker (Max Clayton) brought down one of their defenders in their box on my attack...Forest were awarded a penalty 
and even worse, they took said penalty in the box I was just attacking...Forest had the kick off went on to score the other end...all in the space of 5 game minutes...stupid.
Reloaded and lost 2-1...

I have'nt had any crashes in over 30 hours gameplay. This seems so hard though compared to over editions.
About to start a Crewe game, i can see myself raging so hard
Just a few mega annoying things...Ashley Westwood and Nick Powell CAN NOT be got back...not even on loan
Team is so lost without Powell's playmaking...I grabbed a fair few signings for Crewe...madness...
