Phil, I take it you've got most of Europe padded out on the database - as have I - but could you please let me know whether there are any/many players in the Barcelona and Real Madrid u18/youth teams please?

I've got about 88,000 players on mine, including all players from top divisions and national reputations for Europe, but there are virtually no u18 players from the Spanish leagues, just a few players who have been demoted from the senior squad. Throughout my saves, the Spanish youth teams a re a great source of players and I just want to make sure that they'll start popping up as regens from the beginning of the second season. Would hate to play a season before finding out certain major teams won't produce regens.

First major buy as Brentford is Dele Alli from MK Dons. 18 years old, loads of potential and decent attributes already... cost me £3.1m. Also, Jota for Brentford is ace as a Trequartista!?
 
Yes mate, only have England and Scotland selected as playable, from the lowest leagues of course. Speeds it up considerably.

I have just checked Real Madrid and Barca and I have lots of players in the U19's and B squads listed, plus those demoted from the first team. Barca B squad is showing 24 players alone in the B squad, some of which I recognize and will turn into amazing players. Real Madrid U19's has about the same amount of youth but they are greyed out due to my inability to scout. But there are lots of under 16's in there. If that answers your question..

Thanks - that's a bit of a worry! Both their B teams have loads of players (including a few U18 players) but their actual U18 squads only have a couple of players who have been demoted from their senior squad.

Same goes for the German sides as well. May need to tweak the database!

How you finding it so far?
 
does this year include stadium expansions and improvements? An area I really miss from the days of Premier Manager 1, 2 and 3 lol. Used to love seeing my team and home stadium improve through the seasons.

4 friendlies played as cambridge utd 4 thrashings from non-league teams, oh dear. They played like Real Madrid against me! They've said on official forums lower league GK's being ****e is known issue

Yes, teams can build new stadiums and stadium expansions, but you have no control over it beyond asking the board (and finances and ticket demands have be sufficiently high for them to agree).

Of course. I can do better than that actually, I can share the exported file which may be easier. Just load it up when you are in the advanced database settings.

Hmm, sounds like you need to tweak the database a little although that is a bit odd? Maybe you miss clicked a setting?

I've just double checked, and all top Spanish teams are listing U19s in my save.

I'm actually really liking it so far. Even the interface is growing on me.
 
Downloaded and played my first two matches last night.

I am manager of Nottingham Forest, played my U21 squad first game and won 6-2 and then against Motherwell I think it was in the second game and won 4-0.

Early first impressions are that its very snappy indeed. I have used recommended settings to begin with although I know you can select more leagues and so on from the menu. I think the interface seems ok so far, takes a bit of getting used to compared to 2013! One thing I am struggling with at the moment though is transfers, as in seeing, searching for players and so on. I can't seem to work out how to do it. I seem to be able to get my head of football to recommend players, but I want to be able to search for players in certain positions at a set value, or see a full list of free agents etc.........probably something really simple I have missed but If anyone can help me out would be appreciated :)
