every single game i have played tonight has disconnected me when i have been on the grid.
i sit through the epic intro BS and then get DC straight away
I get this lots as well. Seems to happen when there are lots of people in a race. If it doesnt disconnect I get awful sync issues - I'll be still on the grid with 4 red lights on and everyone else has started?!

I've seen Kubica take out Vettel as he was exiting the pits on Shanghai, bits of wing and all sorts flying everywhere, neither of them finished, was awesome - then I got a puncture from driving through the bits. Was gutted but its the most realistic incident I've seen happen so far.
I got my account back 24 hours after submitting the ticket. They never explained why they suspended it in the first place, I'm just relieved it's back up and running. I think it's an automated protective measure, if you log in from massively different geographical locations in a short time frame.
Fast losing patience with this game for a number of reasons.
1) Game often crashes after qualifying / race and doesn't always save.
2) I've already had my profile corrupt and lose my season once.
3) It seems really hard to find a lobby that will actually let you connect even though I have an open NAT.
It's a shame because I love the racing but it's hard to enjoy it when I have to qualify twice because it crashed the first time.

I found this too. The reason for this problem is that the game you are trying to join is in session already and not in the lobby. The game is broken, these should be filtered out or you should be able to join and spectate or wait.
anyone find that installing from there DVD copy takes AGES? It took forever on my Old pc, and thought it was down to just my slow pc, however its also taking ages on my new one (stuck at 1/3)
Yeah, my install took an eternity too. Perhaps it's something to do with copy protection.

Mine was exactly the same. Got stuck at 1/3 forever (I cancelled it once and flashed my DVD drive to some new firmware cause I thought it was broken!).
Just leave it and it will eventually finish installing.

I first noticed the dull colour palette from GRID, could be a copy and paste jobby
I like that ENB mod though.. helps

think its been said before, but you need to stick well too the right as your approach the hairpin.
That's shocking, F1 is all about the winning and the lap time and it seems they have screwed up big time on the latter. I got bored of it, uninstalled.
Flashbacks are a must. Saves me throwing things at my nice new screen in frustration
I have 3 flashbacks purely for punctures. Unless I go off track loads, through some debris or into a wall, I'll flashback and reclaim my tyre
