I think I'm going to have to try this track out and see what all the fuss is about.

I think i got into the 1:24's and 1.23's, though I noticed after the pitstop, I was flying on the circuit. Before I was stuck in the 1.26's

AGRR decided to start my career, did Practice and Qualifying for Bahrain then decided to take a break before doing the race, so i just fired up the game to do the race and ******* corrupt save WTF.

If you complete an R and D objective you MUST progress to the next session or your save will corrupt.

The game is far too easy if you turn off tyre wear but the stupid amount of punctures you get spoils using tyre wear, i went in the pits with a puncture came out crossed the line turned the pit limiter off and got another its just not realistic.

I like having the tyre wear though as its easy without it as you get the same grip from start to finish but with it on you can feel them going away which is great, they really need to get this puncture thing sorted.

Ok, I'm doing ok and managed to win a multiplayer race in bahrain. However in general I am nowhere near consistent enough for multiplayer - basically I am doing ok, make one mistake and then make loads more because I'm pushing to hard to make up for the first mistake!! :p

Anyone got any tips to be more consistent? (as well as driving more slowly of course!)

Just keep racking up the laps, practice does make perfect.

Loving this game, Wasnt really into racing games but decided to give this a go and what can i say i'm totatly hooked :)

Until today i went to play and my save data was corrupt... -.- guess i'll have to start it again and this time backup save data every now and then and make sure to go to the next session after an R&D oh well :(

yes i'm really enjoying it as well sadly though my PC is in the garage as we have guests and the room is being used for them :(

so after 3 days playing I have to stop. Some great tips here un this humongous thread though. Still haven't got the hang of adjusting the wings for corners etc..

how are people getting so many punctures? I must have done 300-400 laps now of various tracks and not got one yet...?

I had played the game the game for abut 15 hours before I had my first puncture. I originally though people were just too agressive on the curbs and generally abusing their tyres. But after getting a puncture, going into the pits and having a brand new set put on and having another puncture as soon as the limiter was off, that tells me punctures are randomly generated and you have so far been lucky.

Or you have tyre wear switched off.

My Documents -> My Games - Formula One -> Save Games

im not sure what good save games do? I copied mine over 3 times now from my old install, and all it does is restart my career on this install :( Good job i was only 1 race in.
