For those with TrackIR, what profile/settings are you using?

Time trial. Monaco 1:13.368... is that good? Took ages to get that time though.

Dirt2 profile, smooth, with some of the axis disabled for me, i move about a bit too much it seems so i have basically turned of all except left/right and roll.

Leaderboards already are ruined IMO, my mate mortster has downloaded a ghost of the fastest lap for melbourne and said it was completely unrealistic, left him for dead on the first straight (acceleration appeared to be unrealistic) - I was going to have a look at this as well when I get 5 minutes.

The unrealistic times are not cheaters per say, but the game unfortunately deciding to lose the time for the car for a given sector. To make up for the difference, the game automatically adjusts the ghost car so that it doesn't just disappear, hence giving the unrealistic impression of speed.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but anyone with Windows 7 or Vista Ultimate (or, using a tool I'm not sure the name of, any Vista) can try using Previous Versions to get their save game back. It worked like a charm for me. Just go into the Save Game folder properties, Previous Versions, and choose a version before the save game corrupted. You'll lose your last activity but you won't have to go back to the start.

And I never said they could.

The game has lost one of the sector times, not realised, and given the final laptime as being minus that sector. When watching the ghost, the game compensates by speeding it up.

i use the lines, it helps me know when to break..

Dam nice one,
Ile have to put another one in to try and lower my time.
I got a second waiting if i can just pull it all together but thats a slim chance.

Lots of us use the lines to learn a new track or to learn where the breaking zones are ... age has nothing to do with it.
