Depends how well locked down your campus is really, some universitys might, others might not.

Connected via VPN, selected download location US-New York and prices appear in dollars. But still shows UK unlock date

probably a bit dodgy saying this but those who tried the US VPN trick....try again

in game, unlocked, key accepted, live signed in, all seems to be good so far

Aye, made sure i did that when i changed the download location.

Tried about 5 different VPN's now.

Had my "your item's have been shipped emails today"

1 copy for me(pc) and my son's copy(360).

Bloody hell, Decryption takes ages.

Okay, have had a good read of the FAQ while the game is decrypting, and i believe this is fine, my understanding is that this isn't Warez or Copyright Infringement as we have all bought the game and all have the files pre-loaded onto our PC's. If any dons feel otherwise, i apologise.

Just follow this guide to the letter, make sure your download location and community profile are set to US.

I doubt they care enough, they have your money, i can't see them actively looking for people doing this, i'm not even sure it's not allowed, can't find anything in the EULA.

As soon as this finishes decrypting, i'm going to put Steam into offline mode straight away so i don't need the VPN for the next few days, however i'm not sure even if they would lock the game again.

Yeah but it's a small price to pay. After decryption is done, First time setup is taking absolutely ages aswell

yes you can get banned steam account but would they ban you i dont think so
