Like yourself mate, i find that a disapointment.

My favourite connect with the first official f1 game on the ps1 was the tv style split times and driver placings.

When i first saw the screens i was sold right away, real f1.

One of the reasons i called it Grid like last month, the driver placings look the same. Im rarely critical of anything codies do on their racing titles, but they droped a ball on this one i feel.
 
Most anticipated game of the year for me.

I absolutely love anything F1.

This is the only game that has prompted me to invest in a steering wheel !
 
There is not much in it between both, as a G25 and G27 owner, the G27 wheel does have a better fell overall, the pedals have adjustments which have improved things and the shifter is better made.

If you look around you can get it for £215.. you wont be playing racing games now and again anymore, you'll be playing them a lot more....
 
Yep, cause that's the exact one I've got (be it the american version, it came with a plug adaptor which is why I got mine 2nd hand for £30!) I use to play GRID on PC! I think cause it's an Xbox controller it uses those drivers, I can't remember it installing it's own (although it may of done it automatically and I didn't notice lol)
 
Pre-ordered on shopto. Should leave some cash spare for a steering wheel. What was the other logitech wheel that everyone on here said was good? Think it was primarily a PS2 wheel, but had received some good PC support.
