Does this play ok on keys or is it a steering wheel job.

plays fine on a keyboard with all assists but you basicly just hold the throttle full all the time and the game applies the throttle and breakes for you and just play stick on the racing line as much as possible to get a fast lap time which isnt very fun.

turn breaking assist off and it stops it but it gets a bit hard

Yes you HAVE to practice AND qualify, you cant skip only accelerate which then means if you dont put in a time you are relegated to the back of the grid.

You can skip practise and qualifying, using the skip to race menu

You will be placed at the back of the grid after doing this.

Within 1 second of Trulli. Onto Quali now - the stuttering hasn't returned, so must have been a v-sync issue. Not a massive problem, I only get tearing in the menus.

To be honest, I never thought people would get their copy today anyway - getting a game 2 days early is pretty rare...

Was almost immediatly after the unlock on Steam

Gah, I have a US IP, set my Steam download location to the US, and account locaiton to the US, and its still saying preload. Restarted Steam as well.
This is my third VPN now, first two either failed at network driver installation, or weren't actually free. Now I'm on Hotspot and its just not giving me the download D:

I tried Hotspot for a while and couldn't get the game to work, the one i posted a few pages back though works straight away.

Happens with most games these days...

The 360 version was up on pirate sites a couple of days before the PC version aswell!

Personally I'm not fussed at all that the safety car isn't in the game, it ruins races on TV, I don't want it ruining my race on the pc/console.

I don't think you really need the safety car in the game its there irl to clear the track/cars this can be done instantly on a game and as said would just ruin the game.

On the other hand it might have been good if you are a long way back and would bring you back in the game or visa versa.
