After last nights frustration on Bahrain.. I've finally done it!
Was using the proper in car view but i've switched to the one just above the helmet and it's made a world of difference.
Though it's a bit easy now. Won my first race in the Lotus on Medium... don't know the tracks so i'm using the noob braking lines

I have an account which is the same as my xbox live one as it links achievments etc... My gold for xbox runs out this month and i,m not buying anymore as my xbox is long gone. Hope this does not stop me playing pc games online with windows live......???

I'm thinking about just waiting till tomorrow for the game to unlock anyway.
Hopefully I'll be able to run it on full detail with my rig, as I only play at 1360 X 768
Oh, and are the Red Bull, Mclaren and Ferrari's noticeably quicker than any of the other cars? I hope so.
On Medium, you can beat them with your back marker car, on hard, you can challenge them, on legendary, it seems far more realistic, im playing on legendary but keeping the racing lines on at the moment until i can learn the tracks, the only ones id be comfortable without lines is Brazil and Australia (having been the first two tracks in previous f1 games, i got to know these like the back of my hand!)
Lol, I think something is wrong, to load each tip takes two minutes and the music goes into mad skipping mode every time, in 10 mins I've not even made it to the garage yet. This is like playing gp2 on my first pc with 8mb ram lol

Sounds good.
If you pick a lower team do they set unrealistic goals? As in, if I picked Toro Rosso, they wouldn't expect me to win the race etc.

When you start you get Lotus, Virgin and HRT.
They want you to qualify 20th and finish 18th so pretty realistic.

Sweet. I like how it looks as if you'll have to work your way up the teams. Do you get to pick a driver or do you create your own? Sorry, I've done very little research into this game!

You pick name, what people will call you, (Neither Dean nor Stewart/Stuart/Stu are in the game!) and where you are from, which unusually has the choices Scotland, England and UK, did not check for Wales or NI, and off you go.
It also makes you pick difficulty and how many seasons you want to play, I am not sure why it does this. You can change difficultly later.

Something is not quite right there......
took 20minutes to load the 2nd time i tried. Looks like the game has chosen ultra high settings which dont really match my pc spec. Getting 5-10fps in game, 1/4 fps in the menus
Now my mate is taking the mick because it wouldn't be that way on a Xbox360....Sigh.
where can i setup graphics?
