Look what they waited to do until after the new year... 2010 game repeat. Lots of anger on the Codemasters forum.

Hi everyone,

I know that it's been a hot topic on the forum recently and, as we enter a new year, I wanted to let you know that we've had to close off any further post-release development for F1 2011 patches etc as the team switches its entire resource to future F1 titles.

I'm aware that this is not the news many of you were hoping for, but I kindly ask that you all please keep any future posts on this topic constructive and in line with the community guidelines.

Couple of online races guys

First online race in Brazil and pretty exciting this time around as well. The guy was really aggressive, every time i overtook him either he rammed into me for try to took me out completely but it was good fun .
2nd race in Spa, nearly won the race after early drive through penalty (unfair penalty).
 
Did 100% online race at spa yesterday, some good action including safety car. Grid was kind of random after the people joining in during the quali session.
 
No they haven't mate, i think race went quite well with out any major problems or glitch. I know couple of people got disconnected during the race but that could be down to their internet connections as well.

I don't think so mate, can't justify spending any more money. I consider myself casual player, i could be playing something else 2 months down the line and won't touch my wheel for 6 months.

The only reason i am still playing f1 2011 because of great people i met over Elitef1.
 
Here is my almost full RD race, some really good battles in there with Rob, Grave2000, Victor and Andrew. Only controversial movement in my opinion is on lap five where i overtook Rob and went wide in process to avoid contact. I did move right on the start finish straight with the intention of giving the place back but didn't wanted to slow down too much because Andrew was right behind Rob. I have discussed the matter with Rob after the race and cleared things up. I think apart from that everything else was within the limits with some hard overtaking and hard defending. Enjoy!

Eh? what has happened to the RDDev mods forum ? is it not there any more or has it moved?

I really fancied some 4096x4096 car/helmet skins and updated track advertisements after watching that race vid above. :(
 
Codemasters doing the same as their last F1 title... *shocking* Tell you something though, I think codemasters owe me £36.99 in refunds as I was really disappointed with the PS3 version of F1 2011 and ended up buying it again for the PC...

The PC version was, and is leaps and bounds better in every single way comparable to the PS3 version - just what the heck did codemasters do with the PS3 version? It looked, performed and generally felt terrible..

I really did take a gamble handing over more £££ for the PC version, but they don’t even feel like the same game… In any case, Codemasters owe me £36.99 : - )
