***Official Formula One 2011 Thread***

Tempted to pick up a wheel and this.. but struggling to find a decently priced PC/PS3 wheel. I'd love to get a 430 one, but it's PC only.

Thinking about getting the Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience Racing Wheel 3-in-1 or the Thrustmaster RGT Force Feedback Clutch Wheel.

Do some googling.I've posted the System Requirements as i can't post competitors links :)

There are drivers on the Thrustmaster download page for Windows 7 32/64bit.

Code:
Package 2009_FFD_1 2009-06-10

System requirements:

Windows® XP, Windows® Vista, Windows® 7 (32-bit / 64-bit)

Installation procedure:

1- Remove any previous driver versions.

2- Remove any version of the Thrustmapper programming software.
(As compatibility of Thrustmapper with this new driver is not certified, uninstalling the programming software is recommended).

Once the drivers have been updated, you should not reinstall or uninstall any older driver versions or the Thrustmapper software.

3- Restart your computer.

4- Download the new drivers.

5- Once the download is complete, double-click the installation (.exe) file and follow the instructions provided.

6- Once installation is complete, verify that your accessory is properly recognized in the Control Panel/Game Controllers (or Gaming Options) window with OK status.
Do the same for calibration and buttons in the Test Input tab.
Do the same for the 8 Force Feedback effects in the Test Force Feedback tab.

Just ordered the wheel too. Was trying to decide between this and the Logitech Driving Force GT. Difficult decision as both have good and bad points after reading various reviews. Was hoping it'd be on this week only from OcUK but unfortunately wasn't, surprised to see it was quite a bit cheaper from elsewhere. I'm sure he'll enjoy it!

Check the website we ordered from, price has double in the past hour!

Yeap looks good, I think it was the universal thrustmaster 5 in 1 that has no drivers. Or does that now cover the 5 in 1 as well?

If all you have dispatch emails from play then I guess I'll have one too, not checking home email at work :')

Gonna have some fun online at the weekend!

I havent watched all of this but less than a minute in he is overtaken by two AI cars under yellow/SC conditions . . . wtf!

What i can tell you had front wing broken, so other cars was allowed to pass since you was suffering technical difficulties.

Lol, suspicions were right.

Gets past the initial loading screen every time with the mechanical HDD. It's almost as if the content loads before the actual loading screen comes up when its off the SSD, therefore the game misses the trigger to continue onto the main menu.

It's not a crash to desktop, it's just that the loading screen gets stuck into an infinite loop and never actually progresses past it.

I'll get a video recorded in a bit to show what I mean, but if im right then this could become a common problem with fast SSD's!
