I've never had a play preorder turn up on the day of release or before. Game are always good for pre-orders but if I really need it on the day I go for a high street shop or steam.

Exactly the same as me! Wish i had just ordered from Shopto and spent my play vouchers on something else.

Never using them again.

Oh well, im working this weekend during the evening and the actual race is on during the day in the weekend so i wouldnt have played it much anyway!

I think that is why they put in the race director though so you can see lap by lap as to where AI drivers finish, any potential accidents pitstops drive throughs etc etc.

I could care less to be honest, because the physics model is great fun.. I'm more about racing other people than AI. But I could see the Co-op championship being very fun indeed.

Well granted, online is where most of the fun is - but still like to play through a season or two to see how it is. The thought of just doing time trials with fake times and ghost cars from the 'AI' does kinda put you off though.

I never order new releases from Play anymore. On two occasions games released on Friday turned up after the weekend.
 
play are already rubbish with preorders and they dont send first class so they are always 1-2 days behind the releae date..

better to go with someone like game who send out first class and a day early
 
ooo Play order just changed to "Order placed" and not pre-ordered. Probably will get sent out today hopefully then.
 
To the players who ghave used a VPN for this. Is this a buyer then ?

I'm a huge f1 fan have been for 25 years, was a bit let down by f12010 same bugs as everyone else really poor AI being the main one. Raw pace doesnt make a great AI one with half a brain does.

What's the AI like now, how are pit stops. How does it perform, is this version going to need a week of XML work by myself and data file tweaking to get it running right with decent frames ?

Does it seems like theres much depth there this time in the gameplay, f12010 felt so hollow after playing it for a couple of weeks.

After a friend tried it out last night and did afew runs @ monza with AI setting on the hardest he was 5 tenths up (using a Force India) when trying to learn the handling and track so i guess it will be a walk in the park for people who drive in SIM games.
 
Finally got round to pre-ordering this last night from play.

Anyone had theirs shipped yet by any chance. Going to order the Thrustmaster F430 too. Hope its ok.

Just noticed this post and asked our QA guys to check it out but they were unable to reproduce the error. If you see my post and have the time can you supply the below bits of information so we can look into it further.

Detailed description of bug (What you were doing when the bug occurred, what the bug is, anything else you can remember!) –

• Session info (race lengths, long / short race weekends, assists used, etc.)
• Which sim options are enabled (specifically tyres and damage)
• Were you the host?
• The track on which this issue occurs
• The session on which this occurs (P / Q / R, etc.)
• Anything else you guys might have done in this or the previous session...

Just ordered the game and the F430 for my nephew's birthday, it looks like a very decent wheel and pedal set for the money. :)
