Don't think anything was racing incidents on the first corners :p

Mind you what Pete did at Monza was pretty smart, don't know if intentional but hung back and got a clean run after the first corner.

;)

I was thinking we are bunched up into that corner and we were both going to go wide/spin out so I just let you take the bait :D

I just dived into all the corners and hoped for the best :D

Good racing lads.

Shame I missed it. For some reason the wet race at Australia locked up the PC after turn one on the straight. Everything was smooth as silk, just one car in front then bam. Lockup. Then Spa, Spa became so laggy with the amount of people racing, people were flickering and warping up the track. By the time the carnage at turn 1 was cleared, all of a sudden a Williams appeared on my nose sideways then vanished. Then after up through Eau Rouge I got booted for lost connection. Yet my connection is perfectly fine with TF2.

I barely had any car setups done so went back to setup testing.

Personally I think F1 2010 looks better?!

It's dull and lacks contrast. Looks like someone washed out any tone. It makes my eyes water/bloodshot viewing it long distance due to it's dullness. I don't get that with 2011.

Thats also another reason I had to get the lighting mods from racedepartment for 2010.

Has anyone noticed the replay.pbf 2GB file bug is back? I had to make it read only as it causes frame skips and missed downshifts.

My Dad is a massive F1 fan, he was really disappointed with the buggyness in F1 2010, so i hope this has improved over 2010.

decent lap around monaco, all aids off, manual gears

was second on the leaderboards last time i checked, could have been better as i was a bit conservative on certain corners.

While I agree with banning exploits, I use the same setups as last year's game for each track (by virtue of having nothing better to use), and four of them actually have the suspension settings at 1/1/11/11 anyway. Therefore, I would have to deliberately make those four setups--which I created months ago--worse because it just so happens that the suspension settings can be exploited.

Mixed feelings, as you would imagine. On one hand I'm not a fan of cheating (certainly not deliberately), but on the other hand I don't see why I should have to alter a setup that gave me good lap times in last year's game and continues to do so in this year's. Feels like going backwards.

Because a bug is this years game means you're cheating. Simple really.

I also don't understand why people with wheels don't learn this game with aids off, with just traction control alone the game the game is STUPIDLY easy and just a waste of time. Where's the fun in not trying and just walking past everyone because of stealth cheating?
