Think I need to try more of the 2011 tracks - think I will take a quick time trial through as many as possible before we start racing tomorrow. I have tried too few with 2011 :(

Yeah that was great, even if I did get taken by 2 people at once.

DRS put me up along side you so maybe it was a surprise for you, but no worries it was like the tiniest clip ever and I also got caught out a little on braking.

Wish we could have recorded that race because it was fairly epic.
 
Hopefully I'll be able to race tonight. Maybe... T-cam ruins my field of view/feel. However, after the patch was released and applied, the game allowed me to complete a 11 lap race online while I was testing it for lockups.
 
Still working on mastering TC. These races will really help me. Think I settled on a 50% deadzone. Now I can feather the throttle in the middle of the corner, and only floor it once the car has been straightened. It's still not right though. F1 2010 felt like 85% press = 85% throttle. Right now it feels like 85% press, 100% throttle.

I get too frustrated without TC - I am doing well, been racing for ages, then I get over eager, spin the car, its all over and I rage quit for the day :p

It is safer for me to have TC on - I prefer having ABS off and pit assist off though (although having pit assist off nearly wrecked my race last night - would have been stuffed had I not pitted under the safety car).
 
Full, but medium is fine for me too. Just hate having it off completely.

My biggest problem is that I can either put all my time into learning the tracks with TC (ideal for MP where it gives a clear advantage) or all my time into learning them without it (may be necessary for the league). My biggest headache at the moment tbh.
 
Yup it's pretty tough. 2010 no TC was perfect. I find increasing the rear wing for more stability stops the rear coming round on the exit. Gonna do Shanghai 100% HRT :D

The only assist I have on at the moment is medium TC and corner lines - TC I think I still need, corner lines just enable me to reduce concentration a little.

You are right though, 2010 was a nightmare - it made me afraid to hit any of the apexs with fear of getting spun around. Glad they sorted that (although my fear is still there!).
