Epic fail on the Brazil race. Batteries went on the controller on the first corner of the first lap! Sorry if I ended up getting in the way as the car coasted down the first bit. Spent the rest of it a lap down and trying to unlap myself :p
 
This patch has messed up MP for me :( - hoping to fix it by re-downloading the game or starting a new savegame.

Edit: Checked the .exe and it was version 1.0.0.0 - so it would seem the patch wasn't applying itself for some reason. Re-downloading it all again. Now the students have returned I am getting slow download speeds too :(

Edit 2: Neat, it has updated to patch 1.1 this time. Will hopefully work tomorrow. Gutted I missed the racing tonight :(

Hi everyone , following this with close interest , my new pc components are on their way home and when i get my system built and F1 2011 arrives , i would love to join you for some racing if its alright !

Along with the game i ordered this steering wheel , which should come home about the same times as everything else , no idea if its good or not but i just didnt have the cash for a good wheel after buying the pc parts :-

The more the merrier mate. Don't worry about not being good, these online games are fun and mean nowt. It's all practice.

Not sure what time I'll be around tonight, gotta lay some bricks till 5, then pop round a mates house for a bit. Hopefully will be on by 9pm, but don't wait up ;)

Yeah this baby is being built with a view to lasting me several years without spending any more money on it! I was originally waiting for the next-gen graphics cards but i just couldnt wait any longer haha.
Will deffo be doing bf3 !
 
Absolutely brilliant racing tonight guys. Me and SPARC with DRS open and either side of Mike - one of the best moments I have had in a game!

Some randomness with the safety car too :p

Look forward to racing with you all tomorrow night - Melbourne for me please :)

(Could actually have stayed longer, thought it was an hour later than it actually is! Silly me :()

Edit: Apologies to Mike too, a racing incident, but I feel guilty :p - wouldn't have turned in had I realised you had your nose in!

Think I need to try more of the 2011 tracks - think I will take a quick time trial through as many as possible before we start racing tomorrow. I have tried too few with 2011 :(
