Good racing tonight finished 2nd at Germany were me and HBK had a good little fight until I binned it and spun :(

Then 4th at Brazil after leading the whole race till about 4 to go and the safety came out, Then Mike was right behind me on the options and was faster than me because he was cheating(obviously) then on the 2nd last lap? he over took me on the straight using DRS then I ran wide and HBK and Duke were right behind me and on the 2nd last corner I started running out of fuel and got overtaken and ended up in 4th :(

Ha cheating, its called good strategy having better tyres on. Brazil always gives an epic race. Me and HBK exchanged positions like 5 times over a couple of laps just before the safety care too.

Also Murry thanks for the DRS achievement overtaking you :)

You were really unlucky mate. You were at least 0.300 quicker than me.

I find if you run standard for the first 2 laps, you can generally get away with using rich for a lot of the rest of the race.

He knows you weren't cheating ;) Brazil back and forth was fun, that your race Murray if the SC didn't come out.

Where we racing tonight? Are we doing a longer race?

No one has said anything but I'd be up for a 50% race.
What track though? Best racing seems to have come at Nurburgring or Brasil.
Post what you want here guys and well see if there's a clear favourite.

Also qualifying ?

Brazil seems like a good choice, as lots of people are good at that track. Better to have all being good at a track than some lagging behind because they don't know it especially on a longer race.
 
Nurburgring, Brazil or India. Don't mind which.

We should do qualifying a lot more.

I can race anytime after 4:30pm till late.
 
Yeah i agree, think i'll run medium TC for it, can keep pace with the middle pack on Brasil but still not gentle enough on throttle out of corners and spinning ruining my races =/

EDIT: Time you guys think we should do it?

We did try it one night but people kept DCing for some odd reason, might have been night after the patch but can't quite remember.

Agree though, prefer starting where i belong, at the back :p

Just do the usual 8-8:30 start then?
 
Long races are so much better. You get to try less pit stops than others and see if it works (it usually doesn't), and you have more time to catch up if you make mistakes.

It is only if a certain player is still in, been watching it all weekend :p.

Most likely i won't have to though and can continue to try unlap myself :D

Yeah i'd love to do a bit of this, how long do the super softs last on a 50% race?

Wondered what was going on :p I had a quite special arrangement on the gears if anyone noticed :)
