No it didn't. It eventually lead to unable to save. It just became a dead function. Just like 2011. When you manually saved the icon spun but didn't actually write any files.
 
Having some fun,got my wheel dialed in almost,presentation/graphics are very good,need to play at 120hz though,just to see how it looks,had a blast online earlier,6 races,never won one,though got a fastest lap.
Like to play more,but working shifts won't let me lol.
 
just looked at codies forums for the first time since 2012. It's all kicked off same as last time. By the looks of it, I'm glad I didn't preorder. Shame on you, Codemasters.
 
What wheel does everyone here use? I am tempted by the G27 but cannot justify the £200 price tag. Something between £50-£100 would be best.
 
DFGT would be your best bet although i've never had much luck with codies games and that wheel. With grid I had to manually add it in to registry and F1 2010 was undrivable.
 
Umm was wondering have you guys come across a wheel with accel+brake paddles on the wheel,, as Ive had 2 SRW-S1 wheels in about 2 months and they have both broke. I cant use pedals cos Im in a wheelchair?
 
Just had a couple quick blasts on online sprints. Apart from the 1st corner cluster**** in the first race people seem to be fairly aware of what's going on and trying to avoid pile ups.
 
F1 2012 resolutions???

Good eeevening!

I've just installed f1 2012 hoping for big improvements, and there are many :D

But why can't I choose my resolution? My screen is 1440*900 but there's not option for this, or many others for that matter.
Ive tried altering the hardware settings file which worked once it it kept reverting back to low res, and then I altered too much which means re insing the game as I cannot r emember what I altered :P

What can I do to solve the res problem? I remember 2011 was similar but can't remover the fix

It seems oddly hit and miss occasionally. Sometimes I just can't seem to turn in enough. Although to be fair, I am still trying to get over the drive it like you stole it mentality I have from recently replaying some old NFS games.
