Not really. No offense but that comparison is rather melodramatic.
You should think more about that one because irrespective of team, he will be in that Spain side: a much higher and more respected level...


GCSE's aren't really that much of a big deal. You got great results, that's all that counts. Move on, get over it.
It's your next five or six years of study that count.

I imagine next year you'll have a thread saying how bad you did when you got 280/300 in a subject.

Aim high, but also recognize your results.
 
Having been someone who's been down to Oxford and Camebridge for their University taster days. I can tell you that in the grand scheme of things GCSE's arn't one of the most important things. They matter, but not as much as AS levels next year - as thats what they're based on mainly.

Still, with 9 A*'s and the rest a's - anant_shah94 Your hardly unintelligent, so I wouldn't worry at all - just a word of warning, AS takes more work than you think.

Got to keep my job, nothing quites beat your job and future hanging on line for tension, when waiting in the queue for results...
Anyway, got the required B grade in english for my apprentice offer so I'm very happy :D

Seriously get a grip, sorry to sound offensive but it's true. Stop moaning and make do with what you got.

On the other hand, I got 2 A's, 2 B's, 5 C's and 1 D (In R.E) and I'm very proud :) Better than I expected! Got into college for my desired A levels too! :D

How can you seriously be annoyed with that? You passed them all wih flying colours and you're still disappointed.. Give yourself a break!

I got 4 A's, 5 B's and 2 C's. Really pleased with myself to be honest, and now to celebrate at i40! Well done everyone who got their results today.
 
It's mainly the fact that I got A's in the subjects that I worked HARDEST for. German was by far my strongest subject out of the ones that I was doing. Yet I got an A???

The only thing that matters is if people get the results they wanted. I wanted an A* in German and got an A, not sure how that happened.

How about you get an understanding that some people are devestated when they don't meet their own goals, however crazy they may seem to you? Just because he has chosen to aim high and is upset he missed doesn't make him a "poindexter"

It is probably retards like you that bring down the performance of other kids at school, because it is uncool to be a "poindexter" and instead cool to be a tard.
