Yes, with medicine, it actually doesn't matter where you go. No matter where you go, you'll end up with the same degree. It's all regulated by the GMC.

Ok good then, now don't mess up your AS levels like I just did.
Good luck mate.
I got 2 A*'s 6 A's and 4 B's at GCSE, not brilliant but I didn't expect to get DDDE at AS.

You should be able to get that up with resits. My AS results where UUD ended up with ABB just took me a year to get used to the standard required for AS/A levels
As delighted as I am, I still feel I could have pushed myself further and done even better, I suppose that's due to me never being satisfied with myself. I seriously look back over the 5 years of high-school and really, never gave it as much effort as I could have, plus the small fact that I did almost zero revision.
I'm so regretful.
Bearing in mind I am in year 10, I only picked up 3 results today. I got a 2 C's and a D.
English Lit-CYou're in year 10. You can retake
What subjects?
How much did you have to work, was it basically no time to play?
It matters a lot actually, teaching styles vary hugely. Medical graduates from Cambridge, for example, started hands-on experience much later than say Bristol or Manchester. He is talking about medicine, I'm guessing.
If you want to do medicine, it doesn't matter where you do it!!!
I am so unbelievably angry right now. Just ridiculous
9A*s and 4A's
WTF
I just wanted double figures. Those grades are good. But NOT what I was expecting. I didn't get A*s in English, English lit, German , and Physics.
I'm VERY surprised about German and Physics. English is to be expected.
It's another record breaking year, yet I sink below expectations![]()
lol @ crying about 9A*s.
It's not the actual result that counts. It's the fact that I performed under my expectations.
It's like Fernando Torres transferring to Everton. Yes he's amazing for playing premiership football, but he is below where he should be
No Uni will turn you down on the basis of "only" having 9A*s and no job will look at your GCSEs beyond checking you didn't completely fail if you have good A-Levels and a good degree.
A friend got 14A*s.
