Can play games at 4.6 on 1.35 but not do any stressing. It's stable at 4.4 on 1.25v on Prime.

As the resisdent overclocker and number 1 in the UK 8 pack would say....if its stable for your uses thats all that matters.

I think its absolutely mental!

So strong and has excellent behaviour if the overclock is just too flakey, the X BIOS'es are also excellent.

I've not really used any of the advanced options, but what I have used of it I like. Gigabyte software is less impressive though.

software in general is less then impressive tbh, the only thing that was ever of any use was Asus fan Xpert, everything else I've ever used from Giga, Asus, MSI & ASRock has always been as good as useless.

That seems a very expensive way of buying the components. I guess you are at least guarenteed 4.6GHz though.

After seeing nickolp struggle to tame 4.5ghz on his chip I decided it was worth the extra, the chip is valued somewhere in the £350 range after breaking the price down, can't wait to get it all

Wise decision!!! The 4.6ghz bundles can go higher with good cooling. OC is a great board for this too!!!

Dont hammer with stress tests it degrades em.

Any yet anyhow, narrowly missed out on some cl7 gskill flare the other day. Shall keep searching, which will be easier now I only need 2 dimms and not 4.

Haven't gone near a stress program in a very long time now, if I can get in windows and complete 32m superpi, it's usually a good sign I can get on with my usual daily tasks and keep an eye out for any errors on the way.

Will do though I ordered a waterblock fitted rather then an air/aio cooler.

May even have a nice little review of the bundle
