You need to get on our TS mate, even if you're only listening. I played multiplayer for about 90 mins total and got helped through it by experienced members, made it far more enjoyable and friendly (when we weren't chasing each other). :D
 
I am confidently speculating this game is going to be the biggest selling title on PC in 2015 :D

Its so well programmed the optimisation is insane :eek:
Game world is vast so are the options its a true nextgen megabudget DX11 title only the PC could make it look so good :eek: the graphics detail is staggering considering the game world size :eek:

Its the new gold standard for ports as well but as PC was the lead platform is it really even a port or just a delayed release :rolleyes:

I would love to see GTA VC in this game engine but doubt it would ever happen as way to expensive to convert/redo.
 
For those wondering about upgrading etc... after playing with the settings, I can confirm the game runs great on a 970 at 1200p.

Everything max, MSAA 2x and TXAA on. It looks great and plays great too.

My 3570k is running at 4.5Ghz.

What sort of VRAM usage are you seeing?

Haven't tried MSAA but otherwise with everything maxed the short bit I played was running really well on my single 780 (albeit clocked to stock 980 performance) at 2560x1440. For some reason was stuttering quite a lot using 4K native or 4K DSR though - even though framerates were fairly reasonable and it was still below 3GB of RAM at 2560x though it ran totally smooth.

EDIT: OK at 4K (using background monitoring) it was going way over the VRAM limits even though ingame it was saying it wasn't :S

All things considered, this title has launched incredibly well on PC. Give or take their CDN taking a massive beating, online has been really smooth and enjoyable :D

Who knew that trucks could go off road? I had no idea.
 
Love to be giving this a go, but just failed installing from my physical copy - disc 4 is damaged. Going to return to Amazon tomorrow and go for a digital copy instead - I think the flaw on the disc has been caused by the plastic disc holders in the box, so not going to risk another physical copy.
 
just played through the prologue was hitting 144fps with i5 4690K and 970 both at stock graphics were still on the settings that were already applied going to see what i get with the nvidia recommended settings.

did i see someone mention a benchmark tool a few pages back??
 
Hmm, when I'm entering my Rockstar Activation Code it is saying it is not valid.

Did anyone have this?
I purchased from Amazon..

This can't be a coincidence, played a few times today and each time felt really sick and had to stop. not had motion sickness on PC games like ever..

Anybody else getting motion sick with this game? :confused:
