***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

I haven't had too many issues with serious stutter in free mode and single player (with the 15.7 drivers) but last night in survivor mode (first time I have played it since the patch), despite getting 60fps, the stutter was just insane, it seemed to get worse and worse with each round where wave 10 was just completely unplayable :(

Anyone know why I get random crashes on this with my evga 780ti? clocking or no overclocking and with different drivers - with appcrash 'err_gfx_d3d_init' or just total freeze requiring a hard reset

Been having the same issue recently and its really annoying me - played for a few hours yesterday, doing a heist / leveling and got 1 crash - then today I've played for about 30 mins *trying* to do some daily objectives and had 3 crashes so far ....ggggrrrrrrr:mad:

Christ, it seems loads of people are having issues

That is pretty poor really. Next time I play ill set DX10.1, not going to underclock my card though, everything else including benchmarks works fine with my overclock settings (+80 core + 400 memory)

Tried verifying game files in steam then setting DX10.1, crashed within 5 minutes. Tried setting DX11 back and no overclock on my GPU, crashed within 5 minutes.

I had no crash issues with my GTX670 or GTX 670 SLI (other than stuttering and slowdowns) so it cannot be anything else in my system apart from the 780Ti. I am also using the same drivers as I was with my 670, the 350.12s.

So it seems to be something in driver settings that the 780 adds that the 670 did not have that probably just needs turning off

Just tried joining you, said "Please make sure all players have the latest update title" :(
Yeah I got the same when trying to join Bagpuss and DirtyJester.

Without the changelog its hard to tell what to look for and I can't see one on the Rockstar Social site at the moment.

The game certainly seems a LOT more smoother on my end even though I'm still getting the same 55-65fps on a R9 290. It could be due to my new Win7 install though. Shame I can't play that long on weekdays though.
