***Official GTAV PC Thread*** [Important warning updated in the OP]

I have every weapon and full ammo for all of them. One modder took all my ammo away and the next mission I played cost around 110k to buy all ammo. Annoying but another modder used me for cash spawn and I got about 1.4 mill for that so swings both ways.

Taking weapons away is annoying, they only free way to get them back is switch sessions.

Do love it though when they give everyone the railgun, really wish you could buy that ridiculously over powered gun. It's my favourite weapon of them all and you can't have it :(

I can't hack all the rubbish that goes with modding players online ( :D see what I did there) So I stay out of public sessions. Also becuase I am so bad at PVP that it is not even funny anymore.... I even lost a fist fight with gamble the other day and I had a baseball bat... That bad. However I love missions, either solo or with friends crew, love heists, even the odd time with randoms... However the times I have been dumped into public lobbies in the past few weeks, very few rimes have I come out unscathed. Saying that being tuned into a fairground rind and Christmas tree at the same time was hilarious....

If anybody is around tonight and fancies doing missions heists?

It's extremly rare for me to have to continuously switch sessions. Only once have I switched to four different sessions within 10mins due to modders.

I think its down to your playstyle, if ya like doing heists mainly than i think your ok, but if ya like me and like doing freemode activities and hunting bounties then ya stuffed. The first thing i do when i join a server is scan for bounties, then see if theres a event going. The modders tend to get annoyed if ya claim their bounty then steal their briefcase.

Same here. I die a lot because I am so slow at weapon selection. I take so long going round that weapon wheel and then tabbing to the one I want that I die in the process. If I set it up in advance to what I think I want, I'll decide on something different and die that way instead.

I generally set my wheel up right at the start of a mission or heist so its good to go.

But I only bought what weapons I like to use when I restarted my character so its a bit easier.

I will try and be online tonight for a while, up for a few heists/missions etc. Havent played since Sunday and getting withdrawals lol

It all comes down to this, why no weapon storage... WHY!! LOL

I am the same as you pete, I really only use a combat shotgun, carbine rifle, and SMG, the fun parts of the wheel, bombs n rocket launchers LOL use all of them. Apart from the flair gun (a must) and the combat MG I use very little else.... I have tried throwing away stuff but it is all there again when you rejoin a set up, mission etc... if it was dropped for the entire session, then that would not be an issue....

I will be on for a bit today and this evening.....

edit: Also I wanted to post this but forgot....

It is amazing and the best vid he has done....

I like to use the AP pistol in cars and then Combat MG when not inside a car.

Every time I get out I have to swap around from the Micro SMG to the Combat MG it's annoying1!!!!!

When it comes to weapons I have them all to hand, all maxed ammo as well (I like to be prepared :)). My main weapons that I use though is the Combat MG, AP Pistol, all of the RPG weapons and proxy/sticky bombs.

The rest barley get touched unless I messing about.

I'll be jumping on again shortly. I have been playing single player over from the beginning so if I don't accept an invite it might be because I am on a SP mission. Been enjoying the SP story again :)

I've been told that if you set your weapons wheel to your preferred weapons in the SP mode, it follows over to MP. Same with masks.

I've not done SP yet so I have no idea if it's true or not.

Does anyone else get artifacty things when looking at Windows? I have to be moving, or rotating the camera for them to show but it is off putting seeing them!

On that last one you can kind of see the dots, which don't look bad but them move around as the camera moves :(

It also happens on shadows. Is this normal on GTA V?

what resolution and graphics settings are you using i can take a look.

edit: i remember i used to get dots like that when i unlocked the pipelines on a cheap graphics card into the flagship version, i guess thats why they disabled them in the first place and sold it as the lite version.

I've got the same issue Stew. Seems to be more prevalent for me on grass and fog in game. Not sure what's causing it.
