I'm happy to wait until the next run - I'll do some VIP stuff with Blud and Drang this weekend :D

Anyone know of a way of always dropping into a Lamar mission as the host, rather than being dumped into someone else's game automatically? It makes it really hard to play through them with friends.

I haven't tried Lamars missions on my own as host but when I go to launch a job from the map - it prompts me on the fact an active game is going on or not and allows me to select "launch as host"

Try going into a friend only session, go to the Lamar trigger, then invite your friends from there. If you are short you can also invite randoms, that should work.
 
I retract my comment about being online tonight....I really do hate technology sometimes, especially when it comes to financial data and applications..still stuck in the office. I feel a company paid for taxi coming up for when I'm done.

Will be on tomorrow afternoon anyway.

Had a bit of fun with the ignition bomb a few days ago, parked my cheetah and waited patiently for a target :D

Great entertainment to be had with that :)

 
Bagpuss and I had a lot of fun trying to derail the train. Would be good to try it with 4 people, all with buses and throw in some lorries for good measure.

Ill try launching from a friends only server, thanks.

Once you have done all the Lamar missions can you replay them?

This!! :D
You used to be able to stop it with lots of sticky bombs but they fixed it. You still can in SP I think (first thing I did when I got sticky bombs after release)

Unfortunately you do. Whatever the insurance cost is for the car, so can get expensive.

The ignition bomb costs $5000 and the remote bomb is $7500. When you buy it at the mod shop you can no longer mod you vehicle until the bomb has gone off.

If you change sessions or even start a mission with the same car the bomb is removed and you don't get a refund.

It's expensive to use but great fun and an easy way to up your KD ratio. Seen a video where someone planted a rigged car outside the mod shop blocking the entrance and the only way to move it was too get in, they just used a free car of the street. Going to try this later after work and try to up my KD ratio and annoy some randoms :D

Not sure if friends and crews can set of the bomb so be warned, see a car blocking a mod shop entrance do not enter it :)
