Using the in game recorder yeah, then you can edit and upload straight to youtube from the game if you wish which renders at 1080p but can mess up the quality slightly but its still pretty decent :)

What I did instead last night was record using the in game recorder then shadowplay the clips at 1800p, put them together and render at 1080p outside the game to keep as much quality as possible.

Edit: You should definitely record some of your hydra stunting, would be epic.

I keep trying to capture the Hydra stunts but I'm either too far away, or miss half of it :p

The ShadowPlay is a good idea actually, the in game Editor exports in an absolutely terrible way, I uploaded a video of my Kuruma run for the Pac Stan finale and it looks terrible due to the Editor.

I've got a load of random clips so I might go through them later and chuck the best bits in a video :D

You need to go into single player to edit the vids recorded online but it's a great editor with some good controls and effects.
 
I tried some stunts of my own in the Velum on the Prison Break heist last night with some randoms...

My first stunt was hitting the buildings before I left the airport.

The second stunt was flipping it on it's side and scraping the tail all the way along the side of a sky scraper before I even got half way.

The third was landing it on the road right outside the prison like a boss, but way before anyone else was ready and way before I realised I had jets after me which instagibbed me.

The fourth stunt was nose diving it into the floor at sandy shores when I realised it doesn't pull up like I thought it would.

The fifth stunt was rage quitting when I realised I just can't fly.

Yes... I was THAT guy last night.
 
Well I have submitted a bug report....

Basically it boils down to this....

if you navigate to the snacks menu using the up arrows (M > inventory, then up arrow up arrow snacks.... There is a two second delay before the use option appears and you can eat a snack. If you use the down arrows to access the snacks menu, there is no delay and a snack can be mashed to full health straight away.

Long and short is.... My Macro for snacks stopped working. It would not eat snacks when in cover.
This happened after the last update. It appears that the issue is with me using the up arrow navigation choice. see video and look in the bottom right hand corner for snack action options.

I have the macro working again using the down arrow option, (first in the video) however that is more key strokes....

I can't get on with in game chat, mainly because I use a controller and by the time I've found the push to talk key on the keyboard I've crashed my car/bike/plane.

I also don't like the fact that if you don't use push to talk there is no mic mute button in game.

In TS I use voice detection and have a button bound so I can mute my mic when I need to.

I've always used TS tho, so I'm used to being on there and being able to just talk with people even during loading screens etc. I just think it's better and as I have a server I may aswell use it and you're all more than welcome to use it too :)

Random two clips of Dumptruck fun vs train. I actually edited it in game, then shadowplayed the clips and rendered in photoshop CC. Not a bad result tbh.

Good video! I have a recording of all 4 dumpers getting destroyed and will have to try and do something with that. TBH if 4 dumpers don't even make the train flinch, nothing will.
 
I have an hour of play but that was before the heist. (forgot I had recording on) that was only 16Gb in size and I can still crop it up using my cropping tool. So I might start recording from start to finish when we are doing heists.... saves messing with remebering to turn off and then turn on.

Just watched the dump video and the one you did about the stickybomb method on extradition... that's genius! Did you come up with that?

Best thing about the extradition video for me was how to get OUT of the military base. I used to just drive round and round till they killed me. Will have to try that later.

I think we all have our own ways of doing missions solo that sometimes causes a little confusion when doing it with other people. I preposition cars and sticky bombs on a number of missions in order to either make the mission achievable or because it is easy or fun.... Would be interesting to see how others do them solo.....

Anyway, to more important issues

He is another view of the 4 truck train attempt... :D

I don't really think so. I remember seeing someone do it before when I was in the mission with them but they waited at the end of the road with the sticky bomb and blew it so I thought...I could do the same lol :)

So much destruction :)

And yeah, doing mission on your own is fun sometimes, especially without a Karuma. Its a good challenge and you learn new methods.

I think the best way to capture other people doing funny stuff is to just go to a garage or apartment and look in the TV, then just choose the person ya wanna watch and spectate, i couldnt find out how to record doing this but i guess if ya recording with third party software it wont matter i dunno.
 
Nit feeling it tonight, too tired after work so offline already after spending most of the time farting about in the editor.

Will be on tomorrow however.
 
Noticed a slight issue in GTA whenever I select a Waypoint or the Cops are searching for me the animations on mini map flicker on and off/completely disappear ever since I updated my AMD drivers to 15.12 Crimson.

Anyone have an idea what is causing this or do you reckon im right in thinking it is a driver issue?

I Have seen that issue posted on the GTA reddit sub and it is the Crimson drivers causing it. Roll back I guess?
 
Lots of people being banned this morning. Seems the steady drip of bans over the past few days is picking up speed... Again lots are second bans according to the moans n groans of those posting...
