Thanks, it finished downloading, I've just copied over the entire steamapps folder, steam does indeed have both install paths setup. So, I'll open steam, delete local content, reinstall to D:\ and then it should pick up from the copied content and continue to install?

yea but steam will only let you make a new steam directory in an empty folder once you try to install the game again so you gotta do what I said regardless, just copy the whole thing to the new directory after steam sets it up and you exit steam

Got the update from a torrent someone kindly updated. I would suggest if you dont want to wait search for it.

I did the exact same only via a megaupload version - downloaded patch in about 5 minutes and just opened the game

Pausing update seems to boost it up to around 600kb for about 30 secs then drops. I just kept repeating that and downloaded patch quickly.

Aye, just deleted local content and it oddly removed it from D:\, I'm now doing as you said and replacing the empty depotcache folder from C:\ to D:\ and will reinstall once I open steam.

Turned everything up to Very High or Ultra.

Runs like butter on a 5960 and a 980.

i just checked the start of that youtube stream. The product key popped up when he tried to play. Then he sat waiting for steam updates while someone obviously logged into rockstar social and used his key. When you buy steam you still havd to manually link the key to your rockstar account. Haha quality made my night.

Is there a way to disable the pre-order money for single player?...Franklyn's story makes no sense with it on! You could easily make millions in minutes on the stock market. I'm already up to 600k just to see what I can get to!(not really playing the game til tomorrow when I'll start again)

Main menu, laggy.

Benchmark is weird it does some things then seems to start the game without telling u how u did etc and you get a mission failed.

Did it again and i didnt see stuff that benchy did before im in the game now. The textures in benchy part were very low res (on normal textures) and i get missing character during the hostage part he just vanishes after the hostage is put on floor with the head wound. Theres just a gun floating midair behind him.

When i could move it was really weird cos of the shoulder cam. I think my character was on the far left of the screen.

Running on latest drivers. Spec in sig.

Gona try higher res textures and stuff cos normal is horrible.

I got all excited for a moment when the readme said I could download the patches from the Rockstar support site. Except there are no patches for GTA 5 available it says. Phooey!
