I'm still curious to know WHO and WHY I was kicked from the Crew, as only 5 people have the power to kick.
It is not something that would affect my gameplay anyway but I'm curious to know, I asked Rockstar if I would get back my Crew ranks if I join back and they said yes, I asked them to look on the logs to see who kicked me and I'm waiting for the answer.

The crew rank never goes away from what I am aware of. You are still rank 7 on the leaderboard.

There is one person near the top, big bear or something, that has been kicked for 6 months or something and he is still there.

You never know, it may have been a mistake. The OCUK crew has been accepting invites since the start to almost everyone who has asked for it.

I did a cleanup a while ago of known cheaters in the crew, as well as people who were banned from the game and its a glitchy method of doing so and easy to select the wrong people, or have selected someone when in reality, the person who was in that slot on the page before was selected.

I also removed people from the crew who weren't playing on PC as there is another OCUK crew for consoles.

So with all that, mistakes can easily happen which is probably why you were kicked, but not banned as banning people is a specific pathway on a specific persons profile which cannot be an accident.

Im on all the time, normally just kicking around in freemode, but if ya ever wanna do a heist im normally up for it :)

Can you maybe sort the Diablo 3 clan out too? ;) It needs a good tidy far to many inactive officers these days :cool:
 
I've recently upgraded my system with a 5960X and seriously cannot believe the difference it has made.

I realise that jumping from an FX4100 to X99/5960X is a massive step but I've still got my 7850 and GTA5 built in bench marks have increased from ~30FPS to ~60FPS. I honestly did not know that GTA was so heavily dependant on CPU.

This upgrade has also got me playing more so wondering if anyone was on tonight?

Make monies playing random stuff and get to rank 12. Make enough to afford a high rise apartment ($200K+), then follow guides.

You only need 1 person to help you do that heist and it isn't difficult if you let them do the hacking and possibly driving (although if you are the better driver, you do it to maximise bonus with no damage to the car).
 
Interesting glitch during my current replay of the SP game. Doing the infamous torture mission where you have to drive Mikey around while Trevor interrogates the poor sap captured by the FIB. Ran out of time so had to exit the game, but on the next launch I can't find the icon to trigger the mission again. Looks like the game might have just recorded it as complete.

Actually the lack of being able to save checkpoints during the longer missions has started to niggle me a bit now. Some of the missions are actually quite long and you should be able to save progress without having to replay from the beginning. Not saying you should be able to F5 save scum like FO4 etc., but especially where you start what seems a simple utility mission which turns into a half hour epic I would like this option. Or the first heist mission, where seizing the police rifles immediately launches you into the robbery proper.

Edit: The torture mission proc'd again, it's one that is given you by phone not an icon on the map.

Stunts are the best thing about this game, its just a big playground for stunts really, i think this DLC has been a long time coming.
