Yeah, it is a grind. I do Casino and Doomsday heists with a friend. With both of us doing prep it means we can do 2 casino heists on the bounce and that is about 1.8 million each in just over 40 mins and for Bogdan problem act 2 another million or so each and we knock them out in less than 3 hours. All told that is about 3 and a half hours work but with prep its more like 5. So about 550k an hour. Then you can add on the business (I don't do them my friend does) and that can add up as well.

GTA is a grind but once you have the money to get the items that really help with prep and business etc (upgrades and a like), it does become more lucrative.

I have friends with over a $ billion in cash but they only play GTA and only grind for money and RP.

For one of them, it is an obsession I have no idea how they find the time or the will.

Especially this chap.

They have been playing since launch and transferred their account to PC as soon as it was released... but yeah. LOL

Jesus! I’m playing solo - only just started too so get a lot of kids giving me grief. It’s hard to know which guide to follow in terms of what I should be concentrating on. Would be nice not to have to drive all the way up to that bunker to resupply though

I have a casino we can do and that should net you a few $. I should be on later with that account. My GTA mate will be on at some point and we can take you through a Doomsday act 2 heist. However, the first two missions can be a bit tricky until you get used to them.

I finished a job to and then a mission came up to collect cuddly toys or something? They were dropping out of the sky and just ran around and collected them? I’m guessing this isn’t normal?

Yeah, that sounds like your RP was modded in-game. I would try and stay out of open sessions if you're not into PvP as the game is more of a mess at the moment since the epic give away. It was always bad but now is terrible.

The reason I asked fella is I really don't like playing with people who are using mod menus as they can get accounts banned and generally mess up the game for everybody. Nothing personal.

I am in game dude, accept my session invite if you wanna do this casino heist

Yeah I defo don’t run that stuff myself and want to stay away from it. I’ve just joined but think you’ve come off now.

That's 474 days of constant play :o i guess they do a lot of AFK grinding
for perspective the game was launched 17th Sept 2013 which is around 2620 days ago

According to Steam i have 2,263 hours (94.3 days) of game play, but i think that includes single player as well? not sure,
i played the single player a lot from PC launch in 2015 but only started playing online a couple of years ago,
i'm currently rank 211 with $106m in the bank and i own everything appart from the Arena Wars DLC
i look forward to buying everything in this new DLC :D

Yeah, he mostly does survival for RP. Not AFK at all. he has...... 898.9K survival kills :eek:

I have 6000 hours online over 4 accounts and I have earned 1.2 billion.

My original account is 809 and the others are 250, 275, 360.
As I can't do PVP I enjoy grinding heists and doing them with randoms as well. However as soon as you hit about 200 it becomes impossible to not get called out and since the influx of new players, anything over 100 seems to be fair game for abuse.

I love the idea of the new DLC and am really looking forward to seeing what they are going to do. I am hoping there will be stuff to do that can be done from within your own lobby and the need to go into public so much reduced.

If you like we can do a few of those with you. I am on most days but am away to my bed in the evenings.
But would defo help you out with those.
 
Recently re-installed for the SP (again, about 6 times now) - still looks great.

Might look at the new DLC, never got into the online stuff - I like racing but the general *********** of most online lobbies put me off.
 
Since the last update I've had random freeze crashes every time I play. Game locks up but Windows is fine.

Did a complete uninstall including save files and launcher then reinstalled from launcher to no avail. All shaders set to normal.

Can run Prime95, OCCT, Heaven, 3dMark etc without issue plus any other game without issue.
