Seems to be a lot of speculation from Youtube uploaders as to whether access to the new island in this DLC will be for heists only, or available in free roam,
personally i think it'l be available in free roam, part of the DLC is a new radio station which is obviously for the island.. i don't think they'd add a new radio station if the island was only for heists

There is a part of the trailer with a beach party so I think that will defo be a thing, also they say new spaces for friends. However it will defo not free roam. 30 people all running around such a small area will not work. It could on the PC and new-gen but not on the old gen consoles. (see cyberpunk for old gen constraints)
So I think it will be an invite/crew/friends only. They was rumoured to be doing a cops and crooks DLC in the summer. I seem to remember that in order for that to work would require some sort of limited break out lobby. A bit like areana wars but the full map, so only available to those that wanted to partake. So that could be a thing.
The fact we have a new heist room as a sub should exclude that from being in Free roam as there is just not enough space. I personally think you enter it and you are then transported to the new location, just as you do with the yacht at the moment. However, this would be to the new map locastion.

I think more detail will be coming soon but as R* has embargoed all the leakers and data miners, we will have to wait and see.

At the ps5 launch R* said there would be additional online content exclusive to the new consoles and PC

so maybe we on PC and the new gen consoles will have it available in free roam, and they make it only a heist location for old gen consoles??

Well the news wire seemed to imply that the new gen and PC enhenaced version would get exclusive content. (Ray tracing?)

Gotten back into this and just won the BR8 Open Wheel car, I took it to LSC to upgrade the aero , but don't see any option to "adjust" that before trying it in a race... Anyone know if it makes a difference or is it just cosmetic?

Mission in there to "unlock" the island, maybe?
