It's like being in heaven. You can't hear the 580 at idle and when ramped up you have a perfectly acceptable noise level (I like quiet pcs) as opposed to having a vacuum cleaner standing just by you. The cooling system is also all very effective and I’ve had around a 10-15 degree drop in idling temperatures.
Thanks fellas. Good to knowJust installed mine. First thing i notice is the sound is a lot less than my 4890. Ran vantage and got gpu score of 25000 compared to 9000 for my 4890.
So like, 580 arrived today.
Popped it in, updated drivers, downloaded MSI afterburner for some fun, but it wont let me change the voltage, even with allow voltage control ticked
What am I doing wrong lol?

Do you still need the latest afterburner beta for voltage control on the 580 cards?
Hmm, the eye cannot see above around 30FPS so why does one need to go into the 100s? Just curious.
Not quite in the same league as 580 SLI but seeing as I paid less than half the price I'm not complaining.
** goes back to nursing PSU **
Decent FPS for what you payed for the cards, brave man running two 470's @ 800Mhz with a 700 watt PSU.
Unwinder has stated there will not be an official release until after the 69** cards are out.
