I did the same, but now that I'm engaging in more combat it looks as if there may be some level-scaling going on with both NPC encounters and items.

Man.. jealous I can’t play til Friday. :( Goes without saying, spoiler tag spoilers. (If you’re unsure weather it’s a spoiler, or not, tag it anyways)

Same, I'm playing on PS5 and haven't had any crashes at all.
It's unbearable. I crashed 7 times yesterday before I gave up. The GF crashed a few times today and I've just tried going to hogsmead so I'm outside the castle and it's done it again.

Otherwise it works great.

It's not like I can replicate it either, it just crashes when it wants to.

No matter how bad you think the performance is, bear in mind that the console cost 450 quid.
You should see the issues on a 1600 GPU alone in the PC thread. PCMR.
I was actually going to get this on PC originally but something made me change my mind. Though that was probably just down to the fact I can sell the disc after I've played it and probably make most my money back

Played a couple of hours, have to say I’m finding it excellent. There are a few frame rate problems on XSX though, even on performance. Hoping the day 1 patch will iron some of that out.

I don’t really understand what’s going on mind, all the lore etc. It’s a solid game in its own right, early days as it may be.

Only played an hour so far but I’m pleasantly surprised. I haven’t really been all that bothered with many games in recent times but I’m enjoying this so far :)

Caved and bought this today. Not a massive Potter fan but liked what I seen on gameplay videos.
Lazy house day and already put 7 hours into it
Playing on performance mode and mostly 60fps, seems to drop frames and judder when entering a new area.
Combat is pretty fluid to with the basic attack and casting spells.

Finally got a broomstick :D!

The world they created is amazing, honestly think the Hogwarts castle is the best ‘building’ of any game I’ve played.

Broomstick on the main quest line? Going to progress until I get that then start doing side quests etc.

Currently level 7 around 3 hrs in. Loving it so far the attention to detail in the castle and hogsmeade is amazing.

Noticing a lot of more performance problems today, stuttering etc. (XSX performance mode)

Just left the castle and started exploring, seems like quite a bit to do!
