I don’t know if people know. But pressing up on the dpad will show you where to go on screen. Might help as it isn’t told to the player afaik
It was told at the beginning of the game. I nearly missed it.

Still enjoying this, 15 hours so far level 21. Combat can be quite challenging in parts which I enjoy. Recommend it to not only Harry Potter fans but RPG fans to.

Mine just arrived from Amazon, waiting for install to complete... Come on!
Lols - so DPD just emailed to say "sorry we missed you" and it will now be dropped off on Monday

Not too fussed playing it on release day, but would have at least expected them to deliver tomorrow; considering the original email said it would arrive on Saturday (before getting the update saying it was this afternoon)

I have been keeping an eye on this game, seems it is reviewing really well, I am very much in 'about to cave and buy territory'!

I do love the Harry Potter world!

Just installing this game as we speak and have no idea about anything Harry Potter related so should be thrown into the deep end!

I’ve never consumed any HP media, so this is my first time. And im enjoying it - a lot !

Edit. My character looks like he’s out of a 90’s Brit pop band

Love the fact you can equip the best stat gear but make your character look like he’s wearing the gear that you want. My guy would look ridiculous otherwise :D

Walking around Hogwarts at night with the torch spell is incredible, all the real-time shadows make it come alive with atmosphere, definitely going to remember that one.

So far I'm really impressed, no micro transactions, I mean can you believe it? This could have been the worst kind of predatory, generic advengers, derivative game possible but it has actually feels like it's got real heart and soul in the detail.

Not sure if just me but disc install is taking hours??
Yeah mine was the same, I was able to play the first bit of the game up until it shows the Hogwarts legacy title screen, then had to wait hours for the rest of the massive download.

I should have disconnected from the net and just installed the disc version and then let it download overnight as got very little time to play.

There is an £18 dark arts pack on the store already for those who bought the standard edition.

I wonder if they will go the ubisoft route and patch MT in later thus avoiding negative reviews.

Im only on day 1, does the day/night cycle run in in game time or just as you progress the main story quests?

Ive played about 3-4 hours exploring Hogwarts in day 1 and its still daytime.

Must be story because in one it specifically says "we must be back before dark...". Which would be a pity but maybe it just skips time but support day/night regardless.
