Official Home Gym Building Thread

It's been a busy weekend, but finally got the home gym ready to go.

Saturday we hired a van and me, my brother and dad cleared out the garage.

3 trips in a ford transit to the tip and we were getting there.

Made the call to drive to Fitness Superstore HQ in Northampton late afternoon to look at some kit and buy it.

Warehouse is massive, so they had everything in stock.

6pm and were home and done for the day.

Today was spent building everything and getting it to a usable state.

We had some carpet which we put around the matted area.

Quality :)

I guess OHP is going to be the only issue? Will you train here full time or remain at DW?

Full time here now, no need for the gym. I think there's enough OHP clearance. If not I can do it outside the rack.

Looks great, how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?

£1750. The list I posted above but I went for the body solid pro club line bench at £349 - http://www.fitness-superstore.co.uk...at_incline_decline_utility_bench/12891_p.html
Really nice bit of kit.

That's a very nice setup Lie.

I've finally got a rack and weights this weekend gone so just about to set everything up although I can't get matting until I get paid on the 21st. I've done my wrist in at work anyway so probably won't be recovered until then anyway...

Might post some pics.
