I think it was mentioned above that you have to get a static IP from them for an extra £5 a month.Hi all.
Does anyone know how to enable port forwarding on specific ports so that i can access my system through the internet?
I am still using the default router if that helps
uhh are you serious?I think it was mentioned above that you have to get a static IP from them for an extra £5 a month.

I have used dynamic IP providers that still enabled port forwarding

You other option is to tunnel everything to another point, but it's cheaper to just pay for the static IP.
same.Yep, this was the conclusion I came to as well. Just gave in and paid the extra for a static IP, Hyper sorted it very quickly after I called them.
same.
however, from June onwards it will be free again
I have an asus RT-N66U router I would like to use but when I connected the cable from the wall to the WAN port and ran through the setup it's saying the ISP dhcp is not setup correctly. Do you know what might be the problem?
Not much help so far. The second router can now access the internet but the voip still wont register. Ice tried port forwarding but still nothing. Any ideas?
