Still prefer Teddy as a player, its not all about goals scored (not just because he was crucial to the completely victorious season of 98/99)

Barca/ Madrid for £70m.

I'm guessing almost certainly not. And even if they are true, not until the summer at least.

It was never going to happen until the Summer anyway - and I think its more negotiating tactic for a new Utd deal which is in the offing (saying that if Rooney can get 25-30 goals this season, that would do more than anything - but it all helps)

Never expected him back in the Premiership, he loved United too much like Beckham to ever return to another Premiership club

That's rubbish I'm afraid.
At 33 he went where the biggest pay packet was, if Spurs had surpassed Hamburg's offer he would be back here.

West Ham were ready to offer him the wages he wanted and he went on record saying he didn't want to come back to England so no it's not rubbish at all

dont forget the fall out he had with Fergie also - I really dont think he has that much love for Utd to be honest

Don't believe everything you read in the press :p

KNEW you'd say that :p

Frank, I know he had the fallout with Fergie but I think the club and the fans (without wanting to throw out a cheesy line) will forever be in his heart. I personally dont like the way he acted after he was dropped for Saha and how he went about leaving the club (as well as all the transfer requests) and that for me personally soured his United career somewhat but I still think he loved the club and I could never see him coming back to the Premiership and play against us

Just my opinion

Fair comment - Im just not sure "the Club" and Fergie are that distinguishable to majority of current players, and thats why RvN's memory of his time in Manchester will always be soured

He is practically the owner - without being in debt lol - he has so much influence at the club (and to my mind he has earnt it)

Robinho claims today's game was his final one for the club (Man City)

Looks like he's going back to Santos, such a great talent but looks to be following in the footsteps of Ronaldo and Ronaldinho by just having a lazy attitude and not being completely committed to justifying his potential :(

Ok I missed it but I've got to say (this refers to another thread.) I like thevillian, i think he's cool. he tore you guys to shreds.

what was wrong with Ronaldo?

Lots of word going round about Huntelaar going on loan to Everton. :D

Though it probably won't happen and some one will buy him instead.
