Excellent. I've my last workout for the EASA2 9 week program tomorrow. I've found it tremendous if it's a little punishing and it's well worth getting stuck into if you want to increase your fitness.

I'd also recommend Dance Central and Kinectimals; yeah seriously, it's by David Braben (Elite) and probably the best show case for Kinect.

Anyone looking forward to UFC Trainer? I can't wait, looks brill!

I made a custom workout on AS 2, it's a full body workout which I do three times a week. I burn around 431 calories each workout. All the exercises are on hard intensity, it's tough, but I burn more calories than doing the 9 week program.

Active Sports 2 is excellent! I'm using my weights rather than the bands that are supplied with the game and I have a great workout. You can probably get it quite cheap now too.

Re Active Sports 2: my stats from my workouts aren't updating on the EA website. Is this broken? I've done the setting up but the data isn't transferring.

Fantastic game by the way. £25 and you get a resistance band and heart monitor too.

fitness evolved will give you a "light" work out which is ok when you are first starting out but can end up being a little easy after a while.

active sport 2 will push you. it will make you sweat but it will also make you shout and yell at the screen because of all of the issues with the tracking. (http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/120/3877266.page#12043303) if you can get it cheap, all the better.

sports if fun, and will also give you a good work out. boxing rocks ;)

since starting to use a combination of all of the above, and improving my diet I have:

1. Lost 2 stone in weight.
2. Gone from an 18 inch to a 16 inch collar
3. Down to a 34 inch waste from a 40 inch waste.

All of this since Jan. :)

That's blooming awesome mate, well done.

I'm really enjoying Active Sports 2 at the moment, really happy with the purchase. Have you had success getting your workouts showing on the EA website?

Also, are you part of a 'activity group' in the game at all? I'm looking to join one for motivation reasons.

I've backed off active 2 for about 3 weeks now due to work etc but am planning to go back in next week. I don't take part in activity groups, the only motivation I need is my wife giving me that "approving" look ;)

the web site is a bit naff to be honest, so I wouldn't hold up much hope.

the other thing I find is the calorie counters don't "feel" right and the heart rate monitor again doesn't feel right. I am therefore going to pick up a Polar FT4 to keep track of things like calories and heart rate outside of the game to see how things pan out.

So far I would say overall, I am slightly disappointed in the tech and implementation, but it's not terrible.

However, I am absolutely loving Kinect Sports Table Tennis online!
