If I refused to play with everyone who did something stupid, molly'd me on Insanity, ran off with no support, afk'd with no warning or literally, was just crap at the game, I wouldn't have anyone to play with!

I refuse to play with people who repeatedly cause the game to not be fun to play. That list grows nearly every insanity game I play unfortunately
 
Yeah, but what you are describing is an entirely different issue is it not?

You don't want to play with crap players but tracertong was just trying to think of a way to prevent quitting.

If you were playing with me you'd probably be hoping that I quit but even though I'm rubbish and am generally one of the lowest scorers on my team I'll not quit a game just because I'm losing.:D

Saying that though, I know better than to run off on my own and it really annoys me when you have a player on the team who lags way behind or runs off in front with no support. I'd rather have a bot on the team.

Edit: It also equally annoys me when people wont bloody move when they need to i.e. on Dark Carnival after you've opened the gates just before the safe room. Don't they realise that the infected will just keep on spawning and camping in a corner will just get you killed!!! Jeez!!!

What he's saying is normally in Friends games, people don't just quit at the finale because they can't win. If your playing public then really i don't care, pubstomping is too easy anyway. If you're doing team versus, the opponents have either raged by now or will stay the distance, i don't remember a game that the opponents left on the finale even though it was already decided.

we had one game where they raged on finale... stupid clans
 
yeah, high ranked clan that weren't that good; and on top of that, they raged as infected, they still had a chance of winning if they cared

Probably used to playing on vanilla servers with lots of medkits :p

I do wish we could figure out whats making the config glitch and stop it though...

it's a glitch with the plugin unfortunately, there are mods to turn kits into pills when people attempt to use them, but that will also stop safe room kits (bit too hardcore for team)
 
Is it possible to remove the kits from the safe room, force all kits to pills in the level (using a better method than the current 1) and simply use a plugin that gives all 4 Survivors medkits when they spawn?

Is anyone using this plugin? I can't tell if its removing them all properly though but could be 1 to watch.

As someone who frequently gets caught lagging behind (i.e running into infected that the front runners haven't killed) it annoys me when people have a go at me for being at the back. It's the most dangerous place to be in the singe file rush formation that everyone seems to adopt!

Still it's not as bad as running back to help the poor smokered fellow, shooting a few infected and turning round to see his way of thanking you is running off to catch up with the other two. :(
 
I had a feeling we were ><

1 comment in the thread caught my eye though. "I use Frustian for removing medkits though, as it removes scripted ones too" I had a quick look and it seems to be talking about a L4D1 plugin because i can't find an L4D2 version.
 
Whoever is bitching and moaning about teams and people doing stupid things wants to try and play in the same team as MRK on a regular basis.

Only THEN will you realise the true meaning of the words "Rage Quit".

FYI I never ragequit and plus, PLUS! I have been playing good for a long while now!

I think they're holding a grudge against you going back to get Pills (that weren't there) in the middle of the BH3 event, causing your entire team to die....
 
Na they have not either else you and hipoos would get an earful in vent :p

The pills incident wasn't entirely my fault! someone took the pills I saw moments earlier!
