Also feel free to use our OcUK servers. To set them to always get chosen when you start up a game create a new autoexec.cfg file in the left4dead2 game directory and add the following line:



Remove any spaces in the IPs above as otherwise you may get issues (The forum adds them or I would remove them).

Is there anyway to tell I've got that working properly?

Cracking game. Been playing since 6pm. I like the working together bit. Played the swamp and the fairground - the rollercoaster bit is cool.

Also, how do I turn on the ~ console? I've got a freeze and sound loop in both TF2 and L4D2 and need to try a possible fix.

You need to enable the developer console in the game settings. I'm not sure which tab it's under but it's fairly obvious if you have a look in there.

I'm failing at this. I can't seem to get it to work. The only servers it mentions on the first screen is UKCS.

Yes.

You need to host the lobby for it to force to a server in your config file. Also make sure you remove all spaces from that line apart from the first one (between IP and the first IP address). All the ones in the IP should not be there.

Really good game. Just wish I could cure my Steam/Valve freezing problem
