***Official Left 4 Dead 2 Thread***

Anyone else finding that the game has started to get random crashes every now and then. Never crashed at all until the last week or so?

Yep, but they're not random. I've just not yet worked out what triggers them.

Me and link always crash at the same time, something is triggering it, and it gets damn annoying. Along with no longer being able to cancel searches in TV the last update was a complete POS
 
Sooo, my game decided it wanted to play every game mode at once...

aaaand the new update seems to have fixed the random crash, but not the broken cancel button in TV. atleast it forced us to make a confogl team rage on their on server :D why are all confogl teams so crap?

IMO, being used to them is nothing to do with making it more fun. I think it's lame if you can't play properly or have less fun unless him, him and him is on your team.

I don't think it's all about pulling off perfect attack after perfect attack , completely raping the other team into submission. I've found with team vs, it often ends in wasted time due to them ragin.

we can play properly with random teams, it's just annoying once you've gotten sued to just saying "stairs" and everyone knowing what to do and everyone being more comfortable talking to each other.

random teams is much more muted and people attacking at random.

yeah, every change in confogl is against the survivor. Most stupid is not being able to fight the jockey; are they really that awful?

My modded server tries to keep things balanced while still making it hard for the survivors (they'll struggle to get through, but if they're slightly decent they should get close)

Insanity was always possible...still very hard for survivor tho... :p

I used to think this way but ever since the steam sales for L4D1+2, there are so many children and easily irritable people playing. It just totally changed the game in such a bad way.

They quit after one minor attack, flame for the smallest reasons, kick you for a tiny mistake (even worse if you've played excellent that game), or just simply don't have a clue and shoot that hunter on you with a pistol while zombies and hacking at them.

It's just turned into a really bad mix, where the bad are awful and the good are bitter. You end up way too frustrated if you don't play with friends, but if you play with friends too much then you end up being even easier to frustrate.

depends how casually you play with friends, I only get ****ed if I'm in a bad mood, but after a few beers even if we're getting destroyed it's pretty funny half the time :D especially when tefals mouse batteries run out when he's the only one standing :D

That was brilliant, enemy teams attacks one charged one pounced one smoked, the spitter/boomer or whatever their 4th was was killed. and I was left untouched but my mouse died so could just stand there and watch everyone die >.<
