It's being released for both L4D and L4D2 along with No Mercy for L4D2.

For some reason it's only l4d1 updating for me, dont think l4d2 has updated at all, it's downloading painfully slow though, takes the weewee this, i finally want to play and have a bit of free time...and i can't play because the games updating and will no doubt take ages BAH

Oh course completely forgot about No Mercy. But still confused as to how its on L4D2 ><

And yeah the servers have gone into meltdown... 3.5gb to dl for l4d2 which is gonna take a couple of days and my l4d hasn't even started updating. Breaks whenever i try.

Dont worry neil, the servers have overloaded. If i try to launch l4d it just gives the 'busy' error so that won't update till later on. Guess you've got the reverse.

Just give it time, it's going to be the exact same as any other L4D update, we'll all swap servers a hundred times between Asia and America, we'll complain about it taking an age, we'll swear (loudly) when we restart steam to make it update properly and can no longer log in, Steve! will break the update.



Then, when we finally have it updated, none of the servers will be available to play on
