Been stuck on that for an hour and a half

Nothing I do makes it start working. Tried the go offline thing, tried deleting clientregistry.blob, even tried rebooting. Now it's progressed to giving me the "Scanning for Steam games updates" thing in a separate window.

Wouldn't let me login to steam was just freezing, 3rd attempt finally in and now it's just scanning for "Steam game updates". Been like this for about 15 minutes now.

It's also hammering my CPU so it must be actually doing something ^_^.

My Steam is down too, bit of a pain got up early for a cheeky half hour on LFD2 before work, seems its not going to happen.

Strange as I've never had a single problem with Steam before now. Surely LFD2 isnt so popular it can bring down the steam servers?.
