I've changed the mod on my server again, hopefully this one works better with pills....

EDIT: haha, tank on dc1 is stupid..... I'll have to remove that ;)

Indeed, if you stop playing to win in team versus you may aswell just rage (or should be pubstomping).

Yes i think you should, it could really use a witch though imo.

When the "we don't rage but we'll play like idiots" team had their tank, I'm sure we were on the steps with the railings leading up to the top, we just ran straight back to the safe room.
When we got the tank, 2 of them came out of the same room, while 2 were in and the tank spawned instantly.
The smoker grabbed the first one out while he was turning back to the safe room, the spitter came in on the first and so did the boomer, when the second guy who was already on his way back realised his mate had been smoked, Defrag incapped the smokered guy with the car and then the second guy seemed to come out of the safe room door and stand on his body which then got him incapped too.
 
actually, tank hit the non smoked guy first.... I think :)

I've hopefully removed all kits but saferoom now... will have to do a proper test later :)
 
Meh - you guys need to play decent clans . Beat someone like 51, vir or detox , if you've even heard of them.

Played against 51 a few weeks back - best imo but everyone has their opinions.....

Do a lot of you still play Insanity Versus still btw? Cus I'm thinking of dropping some of the l4d2 servers and turning OcUK4 back into a standard server. OcUK 3 staying as Insanity for now. Obviously if there are a lot of objections I'll leave ocuk4 as it is, though I'm probably going to make OcUK 2 public, OcUK 5 into the 8v8 (when I can fix it) and take OcUK 6 offline alltogether.
 
Chances are the moment you remove 1 of them we'll get 2 insanity games going at the same time ><
Its not too hard to switch between them to insanity so i guess and you can always just convert 1 of the other servers back if you need to. Can't speak for everyone but there does seem to have been a drop in interest on Insanity and more Team Versus going on recently.

1 more rage team in Team Versus for us...
 
L4D2 is dead. Before it was released L4D1 had multiple games, teams and maps each night with no real problem of getting game after game for at least 1 year. Now it is hard to get more than one 4 vs 4 on L4D2 a night.

Maybe due to not everybody buying L4D2 thereby splitting the community and new games coming out. But there is a distinct lack of action since L4D2 came out. This might be why there is more team vs team play, easier to get 4 players than 8.
 
Team Versus usually creates a more competitive atmosphere. Whereas Insanity isn't as serious.

When you win a very close game of Team Versus it feels like an accomplishment. Getting 8 players isn't the problem, it is easier to get 4 than 8, no doubt, but getting 8 isn't that hard
 
Speaking of which, it worked fine on the game we just played, although we only played 2 and a bit levels. No kits outside the saferoom, though we did seem to get very few Pills too, maybe it was just bad luck, after all our opponents were terrible (they caused less than 60 damage the whole Center2, Tank included) and they didn't get far enough to check.
 
Keep forgetting but I still have one copy of L4D2 that someone can have for £20.25 if they email me - the one in my trust will do :)

Sorry about bringing the sale up here but more people read this thread!
