my god they sell the black leather for £475 tho! Can't understand the pricing for different colours, I like the black leather I got, maybe i'll get a brown back at some point.

As for Qi charging. I've had a couple of different stickers from different sellers and they all have the same problem - they don't have enough thickness to make proper contact with the pins. Fortunately putting something behind the contact patch seems to alleviate this problem (see my picture earlier in this thread).

Just ordered a cheapo circle case with qi charging, if its no good can easily send it back. loving the G4 so far, phoned up LG today to check on warranty as mine was from ebay, no problem sir! 2 years from today for £290 can't complain :)
 
Seriously considering selling my S6 Edge and switching to the G4. Main reason being is the battery life of the S6 for me has been terrible. Has anyone else swapped from the s6 to the G4 and been happy?

Interesting, the guy said 2 years to me, ah well I wont have it a year anyway :) just got my cheapo circle case from the forest for £12.50 or so, very please with it for the money was a little worried it would feel and look cheap but it doesnt, all the circle features seem to work and now have wireless charging to boot :)
 
Ok had it for a couple of days now, coming from a Note 4. Summary: I LOVE it.

Pros:

Performance: Much smoother, faster and more fluid experience - Software is so much better - stock like performance.
Screen: is gorgeous, not as punchy as the Note, but beautiful just the same.
Feel in hand, this is a very very well designed phone for a large device.
Speaker:... seriously... even though its rear facing, it sounds full and weirdly projects sound so it sounds like its coming around the phone (unlike the note)
Camera: Shots are gorgeous, and playing with manual mode is hella fun.

Cons:
Battery:Best i can get over the past two days is 3 Hours SOT - Note would get 4-4.5... will continue to monitor and report
Camera: HDR processing takes longer than the Note, and Video OIS is very jello like. Also, the screen doesn't automatically increase brightness like samsung phones do, so sometimes the viewfinder shows a darker image than it is taking.

Thats it, I'm happy...for now. I tend to change phones fairly often, but If i can get the battery to improve to around 4-4.5 hours SOT then I can see myself hanging onto this for a while

I'm considering selling my s6 it's garbage.
 
Just purchased the G4 from Expansys via Rakuten.

Got 3.5% through Quidco then used the 'PAYDAY15' at checkout for another 15% off.

So £330.90 at checkout - another 3.5% when Quidco pays. So approx £320 all in including next day delivery which was £5 odd.

Happy with that. Time to ditch the S6 Edge.
 
Saw this in a phone shop and really liked the look of it as well as the camera features.

The leather backs are a lot more expensive than the standard but are the backs not easily and cheaply interchangeable anyway?

The Rakuten code doesn't work for me for some reason :(.

It's noticeably bigger for the first few days but then you don't notice any more, the screen is much, much better, it feels generally smoother at everything it does, and the camera is far better too, anything specific you'd be interested in?

Very glad I upgraded, loved the G2 but the G4 is better in just about every way.
