You can get access to the armour pieces as soon as you've done the lazarus station mission (since theres an armour station there). Guns can't be changed till you've done with Freedoms Progress though.

Ah I see. I also wanted to get the 3 story DLCs but just couldn't justify the cost of them seeing as the game itself can be bought for about a fiver less.

Yeah its the 1 irritating part of DLC. Even more so when they use these ****ing stupid 'points'. They never go down in price.

I think they were worth the money but then i preordered the DDE so its understandable really. Cost me about £16 for the 3 story DLC and Firepower Pack and way back when it cost me... was it £40 for the DDE?

I'd be a bit tempted by a possible 'Ultimate Edition', even though I already have the base game and the story DLCs. Yeah, that's how much I love this game/series :p

Why did i hold off playing Vanguard for so long! Charging around the battlefield, shooting stuff in the face, hiding, charging again 4-6 seconds later, shooting else in the face. So much fun.

Just picked up the Claymore Heavy Shotgun. Completely different perspective of the battlefield when you're in the enemies backline getting up close and personal. Great to zip up to a Collector Drone and blow its head off in 1 shot. And nothing beats Charging an unprotected Husk and watching it literally explode into a million pieces on impact :D

ONE OF US! ONE OF US!

I've done 4 playthroughs as vanguard now :D (2 insanity and 2 NG+ insanity) and it is by far my favourite class. Soooooo much fun being in red health almost all the time :D.

I have recently finished playing both ME 1 & 2 (yes I know I am behind the times :P) and I must admit I loved them! Fantastic games, I have saved my save game from them to import in to ME3 when it comes out and I can't wait for it coming out certainly on my "to buy" list ;)

Stoner81.

I lost my save games, I had them back up on an ftp site and on my PC and they both were lost through hosting replacing the disk by mistake and mine dying.
:((( So I've found a ME1 save game, edited to what I had done and going to have to play through 2 again, no biggie it's fun though :D

New DLC out in a couple of days, supposed to bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3.

Just did 2 new playthroughs ready for the new stuff, can't wait.
