Very happy with the Pastel, I am just not happy with the bottles it comes in. Every bottle I have had (4 in total) pours out the bloody lid as well as the spout. I make a mess everywhere. A thought for the future to change packaging?
 
Hi gregster yes i totally agree with you and we have been looking into the 1 Ltr bottles as i am pretty peeved with our UK supplier. They have never listened to us once and we have to bin about 4 to 5 in every 100 bottles because there not up to spec. How ever don't be phased as its some thing were pursuing. We have all ready taken the 10ml bottles and changed them over to new 15ml bottles.

Once all the old stock has gone these will replace the 10ml bottles. We are looking at changing the 1Ltr ones as well we just need to source the correct bottle that were happy with.

On a side note

Ladies and Gents im going on my first proper hols in 4 years for 4 days as of now. So ill be back in 4 days time. Have a Happy Halloween and ill answer any questions when i get back. If your desperate for an answer on any thing sling a email over to "sales at mayhems dot co dot uk" and they will deal with any requests. If its important they will phone me up while on my hols and ill find a internet shop or some thing and respond.

Thanks for the reply and it wouldn't stop me using the product purley because you have an active role here. It is a minor thing to be honest and can easily be dealt with (I always have kitchen towells to hand but good to hear you are looking into sourcing a new supplier.

Yeah I have had problems with the bottles that you have with your coolant but its no biggie at all, I pretty much use a syringe now. Anyways enjoy your holiday off and forget everything about work and have some family time with yer feet up.
 
Mick I have a unopened litre of the old light pastel red and a unopened 10ml bottle of red dye can I get close to the new pastel red using these ?
Or should I just a bottle of the new red ?
any help would be great.
 
Yellow (used in Pastel sunset yellow)

Laszer Green Under UV (much greener and brighter in real life) New Colour

UV Green much greener under normal light

Is it okay to use your X1 red dye with de-ionised water (the stuff from halfords) and a silver kill coil?
 
When using a silver kill coil you system needs to be out of direct sunlight (e.g No windows and no res showing allowing UV to enter the system) Silver doesn't kill off alga.
 
That's fine, my bay res is concealed behind a door and my tubing won't be in direct sunlight either.


Would you recommend anything to kill off algae?
